Windows TFS 1.1 - The correct way to shutdown

Hi all,

This may sound like a really stupid question, but is there a specific procedure to shut down an OTS running TFS 1.1?

I am currently running the server, and just closing the CMD window or pressing ctrl+c to shutdown, but this seems to not save before doing it, so when I start it back up everything that happened for around 30 seconds before is lost.
