Tibia's international economy is rapidly dying.
1k lowered in 25% of its price, it was one year ago 2 dollars, now its 1.55,
1000k, tibiamoney.com experts say has decreased from costing 200$ to 90$.
We are in good times to buy tibia currency, but this also means bad times for the developers and economists of tibia/real life transactions.
 
Tibia is rapidly dying due to Cipsoft taking advices from the wrong people, in this example, people who play the current version of Tibia which is one of the most boring clients ever made, they constantly make unneccesary updates instead of actually considering opening a reverted client such as 7.X series. Will never happen since the owners behind Tibia now has lost intrest of developing good things and now started thinking of taking advangted of kids who like to spend money on shit.
 
Cipsoft is doing everything to make Tibia contain every main feature of best MMORPG games like WoW or GW. Soon we will see probably spiritshots/soulshots from L2 or flying system from MU :P.
Even ideas from OpenTibia servers are being copied. That means that Cipsoft has lack of unique ideas. OpenTibia servers will soon eat real tibia :)
 
over 2000 accounts in real tibia have stopped to buy premium, and will only buy again if CipSoft start to get a world with 7.X client going.. (I'm one of them)
it's a hot discussion on Tibia forums... only retarded kids that was born when 7.8+ already was out will never understand the real oldschool...

so if you'd like Tibia.com to get a oldschool server back up, stop buying premmy and set in your account comment you wont buy until a oldschool server is up..

I checked around a bit and it appears it's over 4000 accounts that's FACC now and refuse to buy premium until CipSoft do something... (then I mean accounts that was active until this thing started, and all of them was premium, and all of them will be premium if Cip do something)

There is some discussion going on on the Tibia forums, some guy started a petition that Cipsoft should launch a 7.X server. It had like 4,000 vouches already.
IMO this is the best Cipsoft can do, it will attract a swarm of players, I guess 1 server won't be enough to keep the population under control, 5 or so would do it.

However, I don't got much faith in it, it would mean Cipsoft made a mistake and they would admit it.
 
plzhelpmovies, older versions are able to handle antibot systems also. Anyway if cipsoft would ever make such serv he will fail, why you ask, becouse they would admit that trough these years they made one big mistake with casualiting tibia. I bet best tibia version would be 7.72 its same that 7.6 but with more advanced graphic settings
 
What I believe is that sending packets is the method they use in order to catch botters, the thing that sends most packets will be classified as bot. As I said, not sure but that is what I think, therefor aimbot would probably be the EASIEST thing to track since, the aimbot constantly counts the sqms where the player is going in order to hit correctly. So that would probably send shitloads of packets which would result in a ban.

Cipsoft could open a 7.X server with less bots than before, if they actually want to. But they do not care about botters, as long as money rolls in they are okay. So do not say that Bot was the thing that destroyed 7.X, they could easily fight it, but instead they made it so neutral that anyone would consider using it.
 
Then new methods to stop them will be larger? Punishment will be harder for instance deletion, how many would then risk their character?
 
That's the funny part, it was more social. And the wars was more challenging, you couldn't do UE combos in OB because if one guy finds out it's a war, you see 500 people relogging on second chars and tries to goto the battle. :P

Don't know if you played Tibia at that time, but it was much funnier than any OT i've played.

ye i remember doing ue outside carlin back in 7.5 with my 98 ms pwnin noobs 20+ frags in 3 secs cool eh?
