Tibia Time Machine is your new way to record and play Tibia videos!
I made it to be very simple, easy to use and update-proof. It's intended to be a replacement to the discontinued TibiCAM, addressing its flaws and missing features.

Tibia Time Machine is a program for recording and watching Tibia videos.

Tibia versions supported:
from 7.0 up to 10.31 (except 10.11)
future versions may also work
versions lower than 7.3 need a resource patch


Tibia Time Machine currently uses the TTM video format

Key features:
-Keeps separated configuration files for each Tibia version (You don't lose your hotkeys)
-Saves Tibia version and OpenTibia server information within videos
-Can start recording anytime
-Converts old TibiCAM movies
-Compatible with OpenTibia servers (opens otserv:// links)
-Can be used with another proxy
-Playing features:
 -Speed control (pause + slow motion 8x + fast forward 512x + packet-by-packet)
 -Skipping backwards, forwards and to game sessions
 -Video editor (only cutting parts)
 -Control video with the arrow keys from Tibia
 -Commands on Tibia console for fullscreen playing
 -Set video light for old Tibia versions

How to record a video:
-Open Tibia Time Machine
-Click on "Start" (hold Shift for OpenTibia server)
-Login with your account name and password

How to play a video:
-Double-click on the video (see below)

-Open Tibia Time Macine, then click on "Open"
-Click on "Start"
-Login with empty Account and Password

How to convert a TibiCAM video:
-Open TibiCAM and Tibia Time Machine
-Click on "Play" on TibiCAM
-Hold Ctrl+Shift and click on "Start" on Tibia Time Machine
-Select a video on the list
-Click on "Convert"
-Select the Tibia version and the server where the video was recorded
-Wait for the video to be played by TibiCAM

How to connect to another local proxy:
-Open Tibia Time Machine
-Click on "Options", then check "Use local proxy"
-Click on "Start"
-Wait for a message (7.11+)
-Activate your proxy (don't use auto-activate)
-Click on "OK"

To enable double-clicking on a video and otserv links:
-Open Tibia Time Machine
-Click on "Options", then click on "Register video files (.ttm)"

Controls:
-The list box show the recorded game sessions, in the format: "Number) Duration >End"
-"Delete" menu: delete the selected session or all the sessions, so you can start recording again (except when recording)
-"Delete" key: delete the selected session
-Shift + "Delete" key: delete all the sessions

-"Esc" have the same effect as the left button
-"Enter" have the same effect as the right button
-The middle button shows the current opened Tibia version, and switches to its windows when clicked

-While idle:
Button "Open": open a video
Button "Save": save the video
Button "Start": start Tibia
Shift + "Start": start OpenTibia
Ctrl + Shift + "Start": start TibiCAM converter mode
Button "Start" when Tibia already opened: start waiting for a login, so you can record or play a video
Double-click on the list: same effect as "Start"

-While waiting:
Button "Cancel": return to the idle state, so you can play the game without recording
Button "Stop": same effect as "Cancel"

-While recording:
Button "Cancel": cancel the recording and don't save it
Button "Stop": stop recording and save what you recorded
Logout: same effect as "Stop"

-While playing:
Button "Stop": stop playing the video
Button "Pause": pause the video
Button "Play": continue playing the video
Click on the list: skip right to the start of a session
Double-click on the list: skip right to the end of a session and pause
Scroll bar: lets you skip back and forth on the video
Button "-": decrease playing speed (play a single packet when paused)
Button "+": increase playing speed
Mouse wheel: increase or decrease playing speed

-Commands from Tibia:
Ctrl + Arrows Up/Down: change playing speed
Ctrl + Arrows Left/Right: skip 15 seconds

-Console commands: (type them on the channels: "Default", "Local chat" or "Server Log")
play: set the speed to Playing
pause: pause the video
stop: stop playing the video
fast: increase playing speed
slow: decrease playing speed
fast [x]: set the speed to Fast x times (1 = x2, 9 = x512)
slow [x]: set the speed to Slow x times (1 = x2, 3 = x8)
start: skip to the start of the video
end: skip to the end of the video
skip: skip 1 minute
back: skip 1 minute back
skip [time]: skip the specified time (in seconds, minutes:seconds or hours:minutes:seconds)
back [time]: skip the specified time back
goto [time]: skip to the specified time mark
session: skip to the start of the current game session
session [x]: skip to the session number x (first is 0)
prev: skip to the previous game session
next: skip to the next game session
first: play the first packet of the session
last: play the last packet of the session
light: set full light in the client
light [x]: set light level x in the client
delete: delete the current game session from the video
cut-start: cut all video before the current time from the game session
cut-end: cut all remaining video from the game session
cut-time [time]: cut the specified amount of time from the video
add-delay [miliseconds]: insert a delay in the current video position
redraw [miliseconds]: adjust how much time Tibia takes to redraw on your computer (default = 75, max = 200)

-The "redraw" setting:
When skipping on a video, all dialogs opened by the player, like "Change outfit", "New Dialog" and "Edit text", will appear again and will get stuck on the game window, and you will have to close them manually.
To solve this, Tibia Time Machine tries to close these dialogs while time Tibia is redrawing itself, so you can get accurate skipping without those dialogs standing in the way.
A low value (like 0) for this setting will make you miss some fames while skipping, and may not close all dialogs automatically, but the scrollbar will feel more responsive.
A high value (like 200) for this setting will make you not miss any frame and all dialogs will be closed, but will be hard to skip to where you want because the scrollbar will not respond fast enough.
The better is to try some settings until you find one that accomodates you better, the default is set to 75, a balanced value.
This setting is saved globally, and will affect all videos of all Tibia versions.

-TibiCAM converter mode:
Button "Cancel": exit converter

 -While waiting to select a video:
 Button "Convert": start converting
 Double-click on the list: same effect as "Convert"

 -While connecting:
 Button "Stop": return to the video list

 -While converting:
 Button "Stop": save the partial video


Future improvements:
-Converter for TMV, CAM, XCAM, TCAM, BYN

Well, to be honest i like the old one but this new is not bad, and have you ever think in make it compatible for OTC?

Yes, but now I don't have that much time to pogram as before.

For OTC it would be very easy to write a LUA module.
If someone is interested in writing it, I can give the specs of the TTM formar, which is pretty trivial.

By the way, I switched PCs and lost my old TibiCAM and vídeo collection in REC format. Does someone still have it?

@Wizah it's possible that your download got corrupted
Can you open the .zip file?
What is the file size?

Try:
-Clear your browser cache and download it again
-Enable cookies to download from the otland attachment
-Do not use download managers
-If all else fails, try a different browser

Fraps compare to TTM is piece of crap in my opinion ofc.

btw size on the disc is 417 792 bytes, browser cleared, cookies enabled, not using download mngr, now am bout to try other browser. I hope that will work.

For version 5.0:

Tibia Time Machine.exe is 942 KB (964.608 bytes)
PT-BR version is 942 KB (965.120 bytes)

The Tibia Time Machine.zip file is 405 KB (414.851 bytes), which occupies 408 KB (417.792 bytes) in NTFS disks
So you got the correct zip file.

A zip file is an archive file which contains more compressed files inside, be sure to extract hem using na appropriate tool, like Windows Explorer, WinRAR, 7-zip, etc.
You may have got that error if you RENAMED Tibia Time Machine.zip to Tibia Time Machine.exe instad of extracting

What version of Windows do you run? 32 or 64 bits?

It's been a while, but last time I looked into it, OTC had a LUA interface that could be used to make recording of incoming packets
