ok i downloaded it, and now server is runing, i have connection but every acc nmbr and password is wrong i change password with AI from sha1 to test and its still wrong .... my config lua

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but does this have working quests and npcs out of the box? Id love to host this for free and use it as a base foundation for my hobby project.

Yes 100% quest work, and i have fixed all Npc for sell spells also.

I think ur client send password or account incorrect to server, you need create a printf on protocolloging.cpp for see true problem enter password or account value from client!
 
I am getting the same issues with spears crashing the server on players only, and not GM characters. I have downloaded the latest project from github as well.

I noticed that the change within items.cpp was changed already. Trying that fix in combat.cpp, the server doesn't start when I re-compile after applying those changes written.

I did a test, and tried to re-compile the whole server just after downloading it, and something seems off, I cannot start the server, even with no changes.

What happens is that the .exe file just stays blank, no text, not closing, nothing happens (opening through CMD to see errors). any help?

I am using OTclientv8 to play the server, if that has anything to do with said crashes

I have his datapack working fine in windows and ubuntu , i can share it with u.
