I understand that you have the right to close any thread.

I understand some threads are completely offensive and completing random that there's no reason to explain why closing.

But, one of my threads have been closed and I get really annoyed by the fact there's no definite explanation on why it's closed.

I think you moderators, global moderators, and/or admins should explain the reason why the thread was closed or deleted unless it's totally common sense (eg. pornography, offensive, racist and so on).

I understand that there has been threads similar to this, I understand that you're annoyed by the fact we complain a lot, but just giving 10 seconds and explain the reason of thread closure instead of completely closing it can benefit us members by understanding the reason why our post has closed, that way it will never happen again.


Please do not take this as a threat towards you guys.

Thanks for reading, hopefully we can make some changes around here.

I don't care about otfans, I am not browing otland because I want to read about otfans. So I delete those threads.

I made a thread releasing OTServ 0.6.3 distribution and for some reason it wasn't approved, I wonder why..

I didn't know it was made by the admins, seeing that the thread was created by somebody else (Mackan).

There are discussions etc. about other servers, it's just like any other server except for that it's otfans.
I think you guys are just scared that they'll steal your members or w/e.
You guys still haven't given any real reason to this behavior, a lot of people will miss out a lot of things if you keep deleting everything related to otfans, but I guess I'll wait for a admin to reply with a reason.

And I'm not taking sides or w/e, just stating my opinion.

We never said we were. We don't give a rats ass if Otfans delete posts about our forum there. But Otfans is a stupid community there they make news insulting our official server.

Considering their admin make stupid news about our official server, then I think we have the right to delete all posts about their official server as we are not stupid enought to make official insults about them nor their team.

Simple conclusion:
- Otfans make insults about our official server.
- We just delete threads related to otfans official server, and move on. We are the mature ones.

btw. Why would someone use any other OT then TFS? It has everything and is better then any other release anyway. And if you do not want to use it, we have like 20x other distro's laying out there waiting for your grabbing.

Those aren't really distros, they are just a TFS or OTServ with a custom map and/or scripts. and as you just delete OTServ distros, you leave TFS left.

And mature ones wouldn't behave this way.

That is not true. There are different distro's which actually has evolved into beeing different ones. And we do not remove otserv distros, we remove the discussion about it as if you wish to discuss a distro belonging to otfans you should go there.

And mature people do delete and ignore other people that make insults and are behaving badly.
