TVP 7.4 Develop & TVP 7.7 Stable Full Distribution

start learning how to use or add things on this engine Tibia 7.7 Server Decompiled (https://otland.net/threads/tibia-7-7-server-decompiled.296811/) is the best and most stable distribution for 7.x servers people can say whatever they want but believe me you can have an stable server with the real things
I read through it, this looks really amazing but its way out of my skill level. Theres alot of lingo im unfamiliar with even after starting a canary server with a guide in my free time. I appreciate the link, ill give it a shot

Definitely better engine if you are experiened already - TFS is more cozy bcoz of Lua, which you can also use here.
A thing that makes TVPV8 even more approachable now is the fact that you no longer have to compile, actions will do it for you.
Just download a build artifact and run.

Dear all,

I've got a very old custom map (9.60) which I want to try on this TVP version. Do you guys have any solution how I am able to convert it so it's compatible? I'm able to load my custom 9.60 map with RME Editor with 8.00 .dat .spr files, but unable to load with TVP-Mapeditor.

Thanks in advance.

Regarding the map editor, do you have any suggestions to improve the workflow?

Currently, in OTC/Things it’s 772, in RME it requires 8.0, and in the map properties it shows 8.4 — which is quite confusing.

While editing and viewing the map in-game works, in RME it’s hard to correctly identify the items used. How can we make this visualization clearer and more reliable?

wow, what a mess! This looks so, so, so messy. Why did someone do something like this? I'd like to understand.

Hi,
I have few questions about this versions of TVP sources leaked here.
One is a stable for 772 and second is develop for 74.
Is that 74 version also developed by ezzz?
The version which I bought is the 772 stable but I see that a lot of source files were changed in this 74 version.
I'm not sure if it's worth migrating.

I see on github for example that you are struggling with removing this tvp players format (gamedata\players) - but in this 772 version it is already implemented. You can choose between using local file database and sql database in config file.

This 772 stable source files works really great locally with one player - I did not found any critical issues with them. All my scripts/changes works great - I'm not sure about which sources you are telling guys that are bugged - does this 772 stable are broken or this edited 74 on github?

Thanks in advance for help.

Yes. This one is even a little bit more advanced than his as it had some tweaks done related to some bugs.

But the 7.72 and 7.4 develop are the same as he had in his repo. He never updates the tvp server anymore since like 2 years.

This version still has alot of bugs coming from him. So its up to you to report them on github or contact someone if you want to have them patched privately. I do have a private repo of tvp that I've worked on for two years that is free of any and all issues but that is nothing im providing as an upload on github, its a private repo.

Otherwise if you want to find the issues your options are to launch and find out about them.

So this 7.4 version is considered newer/better then 772? I do not know why you guys decided to develop this 74 version on github instead of 772 - which for example already have this functionality of disabling local database in gamedata\players. Some options like overspawn are usefull from this 74 version, but I see that for example half of actions.cpp were rewritten. The same with some other core files like iologindata. It looks like completly different source to me then the "updated" version :P And i'm not sure which one is worth using/testing. But I think I will stay with this 772 stable.

"So its up to you to report them on github" - sure. But I did not found any critical in this 772 stable. Maybe im testing it not properly.

and more than likely you wont, atleast not on your own. Many of these bugs start surfacing when you launch the server. I was hosting TVP with 300 players when I noticed the critical issues all over the place and you'll need to go through the same process. Im not sharing my private repo of TVP with all my fixes and time invested here. But I do provide support if anything and there's the github aswell where you can report any and all issues you're encountering and they'll more than likely be fixed.

that's what you all get for using leaks
yes better buy from u then u already know all the bugs that are available for fixing for the cheap price of $40000
ofc only u know how to fix those so its either pay or the money u already invested has gone to waste
nice sugar trap

I didnt say buy them. I said host the server and find them. But Im up to help people launching and finding issues by reviewing my own github fixes. But im not releasing 2 years of work on top of this bug fiesta called tvp

I’m using version 7.4. I’ve improved some formulas, added new systems, and haven’t had any issues at all—it works perfectly. Of course, you still need to tweak and fix a few things here and there.

If you say that about TVP, what do you say about Nostalrius then? Does it have a lot of bugs too?

I do not expect you to release your code, but if you know this bugs already you could point them in the list and we could fix them togwther. Its hard to repair bugs whem we do not know what shoild be repaired.
Your server had to be really successful if you had 300 active players. Congrats.

I saw this fix with waitlist - really good job with that. Its for sure last thing i would test, because it do not believe my server would ever hit the max players value.

Idk about nostalrius but seeing as it is an pre-version of TVP. Tvp could contain even more issues or the same issues basically.

That was the original idea but Ive lost track really. I fixed over 200 errors in the codebase. Some were small and insignificant such as item names being wrong, while others were actual bugs that could be exploited and some could even cause cloning and the really hardcore ones could crash the server.

In addition to this I also fixed his false marketing 1:1 copy of the realengine. I had to fix skills, monster ai, defense/armor logic and what not. I cant remember all of it but it was a big overhaul where tvp was like a 5% copy of the real thing and not 99.9% as was claimed. He copied map, quests, npcs, and added a similar cache account system on the server. He basically copied what was visually interpreted as a copy so it would trick your mind. His monster AI is a garbage made up version for instance which can trigger too fast monster spell spams and so on and not at all like the authentic combo system in the terms of 1:1

But in regard to the exploit that crashes the server, for now we believe its bad LUA passing player data objects if I do not mis-rememeber. But its explained by gesior in the current repo and Ive made a few reports.

Its a journey and you're free to ask me for specific help that you can point out you're having issues with. It would be easier for me to locate one issue at a time rather than a hundred issues

Glad to hear it!

P.s it might be worth to mention that I used 7.72 stable and manually downgraded and fixed all issues when making it 7.4

So this critical issues was with lua addevents which you create? I searched in all addevents in tvp 772 and all addevents are written properly.
You are always saying that tvp is bugged and not useable, but you did not point any of this bugs so far.
I goes through all available tfs engines with rlmap datapack, and tvp is so far the best from all of them out there
I just do not get why you always say it is bugged and not provide a single critical bug. Is it some strategy? Are money involved in that? Its look like you just want your piece of cake now from player who believe you and will pay for this critical patches?

I just gave you an overall explanation. Its not like im detailing what Ive fixed and not to you and the point is not if its the best version out there atm. The point is its not a 1:1 replica as has been advertised and which has scammed the entire community.

Dont mind the visual parts. Beyond the issues there is basically no resemblence in this engine with the real engine in terms of accuracy in formulas of logic. As I explained above. Be happy I did you a favour and that my research helps you reach your goals but if you come at me with an attitude again ill ignore you.

Ok. So there is no critical issues in tvp just not accurate written formulas, some map bugs, wrong naming in items. I can accept that. The server freeze/crashes was from lua scripts not from cpp code.
I just did not gets why you advertise it as a garbage with hundreds of critical bugs.
I can agree with that its not 100% accurate with original. But its still the best replica out there imo.

Idk how much you have paid for that engine. But i get it in price which was really fair for what it offers.

BTW advertise works like this. Did you see big mac in tv and big mac in rl life? Hehe but i get you gets disappointed because you were expecting decompiled server from leaked files 1:1
