The way you are referring to Tibiantis as "first project" shows that you're probably missing its point. Tibiantis is not an OT that's going to run 2nd, 3rd, 10th and 50th "edition" like many others do. We always said that Tibiantis was meant to be a quality long term server for years, one of a kind. A place for old tibians to come back to from time to time and chill in. We won't be starting another "project", and it has nothing to do with "risks". Business-wise it would probably be way better to launch a new server every few months, or even weeks, because there are always more people waiting for a new server (for hundreds of reasons) than actually playing. And that's why most other OT servers take this "strategy" of "new editions". Business-wise there is also zero point at all in running a 7.4 x1 server and with such a harsh policy against cheating. In both terms it's a niche, and we knew it was a niche before we even started working on it. But that's what we wanted to do, that's what we said we would do, and that's what we keep doing.

A content update is going to be released this year, so I don't know why you added that to your list. A new game world? Yes, one day, maybe, but that's not (and never was) our priority or goal, so there is no point in "waiting" for it. I'm sorry for all the people expecting us to open new servers on their wish, and for those expecting us to create a 7.6, 8.0, 8.1, 8.6, 12.50 version (or whatever other version they'd want) under the pressure of forum posts. We are not here to please everyone, we never commited to that or promised to. If you don't enjoy Tibiantis the way it is, then you are probably not one of those niche players that it targets.

Also, using the "it's turning empty" argument does not make your reasoning stronger. It's quite the opposite, especially given the fact that it's been constantly used for over 4 years already.

Honestly, I'm really sorry for those that cannot fully enjoy it because of their latency. But not for anyone who wants to push us to open a new world just because, and especially not for those implying that we should abandon the current one and start a new "edition".
Sadly, there is no location that could work equally well for everyone. We do have a fair community of SA players though, and some of them (mostly Brazilians) managed to reach very high levels, which means that it should be at least playable.

Full respect on your stand. I do enjoy your server... my only and unique problem, is that ping is too high. You are not ment to please me, but this latency does not please me at all. Yet i keep playing lfmao.

And what I ment about updates being pretty obvious there is and have been updates, is that from administration very little happens from what it seems, what we players would want to. At least me.

I hope Tibiantis never goes empty, I wish it staying online for decades but with an homologous NA hosted server.

Miami its the mid point for all SA/NA Players just saying, and being possible to get a high lvl doesnt mean that they would play at the highest lvl, no matter what u do, proxy or whatever a European Mage with 10-20 ms, agaisnt a brazilian one with 170-200 ms, will never be a fair match, and i get it u dont need and want to open a new Server, most of us from NA, where waiting for it since the launch of this European version, but it wont happen anywhere or anytime soon, this game its a niche and theres few admins thats are worth to invest money and time in their servers...

NA is the most democratic region to host a server if you have both SA and EU players. Both will get average of 100~ ping which is decent, although not ideal.
Just because you have few brazilians that like Tibiantis enough to withstand playing with lag it doesn't mean its fine to every brazilian. I am sure you are losing a lot of potentital SA players that loves the Tibiantis niche but are not as willing as those few to keep playing with high ping or having to pay an expensive proxy. Tibiantis is not playable without a proxy, so its already a pay wall to play on top of the premium account, and even with the proxy its far from being a good experience compared to a low ping server.

ping doesn't always win here. it's not spam ots to play pizza games on lamborghini. this client so old it's still gold running compatibily mode on default
