Not trying to downgrade this server.

However I don't really understand the gameplay model at all. I've been fairly actively playing it for two days straight with someone else who has at least a basic understanding of the server.. All we have done is farmed tasks. There has to be something I'm missing here. Not a single item has changed on my character since I started, and I have no currency to show for. I am too low level to do any dungeons, rifts, quests, events, or anything. I tried to do the crafting stuff, but you need archlight tokens for that which I had enough to make about 5 ingots after getting my promotion, therefore I cant do any crafting either. I get this isn't "just another tibia clone" but I don't know if I've ever played a more confusing ot than this.

The world expands once more
A new world is taking shape! built with a different philosophy at its core, and designed to deliver a more deliberate, grounded experience from the very first step.
It comes with a range of new systems, mechanical adjustments, and design changes that reshape progression, combat, and moment-to-moment gameplay. Progression will be slower. Combat will be more defined. Every system has been approached with intention! creating an environment where decisions carry weight and every milestone feels earned.
As part of this process, we’re reopening the PTR (Public Test Realm) — giving players early access to step in, explore these changes, and help refine the experience before launch.
PTR account and character creation will be available at March 30th, 2026. At that same moment, the PTR itself will open and Patch Notes will be released.
From then on, you’ll be able to test new systems in real scenarios, experiment with updated mechanics, and report directly on what needs refinement.
PTR, along with account and character creation, will conclude onptr new world_launch.webp April 3rd, 2026. All feedback will be carefully reviewed, final adjustments will be made, and once everything is ready, the official launch date and character creation details will be announced immediately after.
All feedback must be submitted through the in-game report system to be counted. Every report is tracked, and top contributors will be rewarded from a $1000 pool of donation items, based on the quality and impact of their findings.

The Patch Notes for the upcoming new world are now available — along with PTR account creation.

PTR testing is now live you can already download the client and begin testing, giving you the opportunity to step in, explore the new systems, mechanics, and design changes, and begin testing. These notes will guide your focus, so make sure to review them carefully.

Check out the Patch Notes here:

Create your PTR account to access the client:

Download the PTR client here:

If you have the launcher open, close and reopen it. You will see the test realm client available to download; that is the PTR client

All feedback must be submitted through the in-game report system to be counted. Reports sent through Discord or other platforms will not be credited.

Your input matters — a $1000 pool of donation items will reward the most impactful contributions based on report quality and severity.

With that, I have the team making all donations 50% Cheaper for the Abaldar season.

To everyone who participated in PTR and helped shape this season - a genuine thank you.
These volunteer contributions help Archlight more than you know, and why we bring rewards with it!
We'll be reaching out to all eligible contributors in the coming days ahead of launch to get those distributed on Abaldar.

[A Focus on User Growth]
Abaldar isn't just a new season - it's also the start of a new chapter for Archlight's growth. We're ramping up our marketing efforts long-term, using this Abaldar Season to start pushing more outreach and refine strategies further based on the methods that prove the best results, before a significantly larger push for what's coming after Abaldar.
If you're a content creator - or you know one who would be interested in streaming Abaldar, reach out! Open a ticket here in Discord and let's talk. Minimum requirement currently is 30+ concurrent viewer 30-day average.

ABALDAR LAUNCHES!
This season is the result of 6 months of hard work from the Archlight team. They've built a lot, and I'm proud of what they've put together.
But I also want to be honest with you - with me getting back involved and diving deeper into systems & going through 100's of player's feedbacks, I can see clearly how much I want to change and improve. There's a real vision for what Archlight can become again, and building that properly is going to take time as mentioned. This season is the bridge that gets us there. It's not the final form - it's the foundation.
And that makes your feedback more important than ever this Abaldar Season.
Every hour you spend in Abaldar is helping shape what comes next. The things you love, the things that frustrate you, the systems that feel right and the ones that don't - all of it matters. In the days following launch, the team will be setting up new and improved feedback channels so we can gather your input properly while we build the next evolution of Archlight - together.
So play. Explore. And tell us everything once the new feedback channels are up *(it will keep it much more organized for myself to go through every single bit of feedback)
Now - sharpen those blades.
Prepare your spells. ARCHLIGHT LAUNCHES

Balance Changes [5/17/2026]

Hexblade Changes

Spectral Barrage

Damage reduced by 40%

Cooldown increased from 12 to 20 seconds

Reason: This spell was being recast by both the Awakening effect and the artifact effect, being a pinpoint spell, while also gaining +30% increased damage from another artifact interaction.
This resulted in roughly 390% total damage from a single cast with a very low cooldown, making it significantly stronger than intended compared to other AoE abilities.

Hex Storm

Damage reduced by 35%

Cooldown increased from 18 to 24 seconds

Reason: This ability also benefits from artifact recast interactions. Since the skill already hits 4 times and can recast, it resulted in extremely high sustained damage within the class kit.

Hex Spread

Damage reduced by 25%

Cooldown increased from 18 to 24 seconds

Reason: This spell has a very large overlap potential, allowing explosions to chain for extended periods as long as monsters continue dying, resulting in excessive damage scaling in dense hunts.

Requiem – Death March (Awakening Effect)

Now has a maximum extension cap of +10 seconds

New Description: "During Requiem, each enemy killed extends the duration by 1 second, up to a maximum of 10 seconds."

Necromancer Changes

Mind Seizure

Cooldown increased from 8 to 14 seconds

Witch's Cauldron

Cooldown increased from 12 to 18 seconds

Gathering Fear

Cooldown reduced from 10 to 8 seconds

Corpse Explosion

Cooldown increased from 10 to 12 seconds

The goal of these adjustments is to prevent the Hexblade from dominating the meta, as happened last season where rankings became heavily concentrated with this class. We will continue making small adjustments every 1–2 days based on:

Player progression

Gameplay data

Community feedback

All changes remain subject to further tuning. A new feedback channel has been added so we can better evaluate the impact of these changes and adjust the class balance accordingly. class-feedback-hub

Talent Tree Changes

Due to issues with Talent Tree points not being properly distributed this season, we are currently fixing the system. However, we cannot directly re-add the missing points to characters.

Temporary solution for this season:

Questlines will now grant 1 Talent Point each time they are completed.

You must have a Quest Charge to receive the point.

Completing a full questline will grant 17 Talent Points every 3 days.

Balance rule during this temporary system:

Players will be capped at 202 Talent Points, which is the maximum amount available in the tree.

This temporary system will be removed next season once the normal Talent Tree acquisition is fully restored.
