The Story about the Unknown
They got the news by the time of midday. The ship that should bring back their father and grandfather has finally been sighted by the scouts.
A few days later their father and grandfather walked in the door, everyone looked up and came up on their feet to welcome their family members back home from their journey.
In the evning all of the kids went to see their grandfather who sat at the bonfire and smoked on his pipe.
He looked up and gave a worried smile, the kids sat down around him and asked him to tell them a story. He said
- I will tell you a story. I guess your all old enugh to hear what my grandfather once told me when i was a little kid.
- Have you ever heard about the Unknown?
The kids replied
- Yes we have heard about the rumors about the Unknown, It's just fairy tale.
The grandfather laughed all the way down to his belly, stopped for a while and said
- This is not just a fairytale kids. It's a true story my grandfather experienced as a child. Now let me tell you.
And so the story begins..
Chapter 1
The year was 500 BTF*. It was winter in Lylinthia. All towns where preparing for the worst storms ever seen in the Lylinthia history. People where reinforcing their homes and
chopping firewood to survive the cold winter. Like in the past winters people usually never went out. But this winter was something different. The Royal King of Malakali
sent out orders that everyone at the age 17 and older had to join the army. Loial** Who had just turned 17, packed his bags in order to move to the recruit camps just outside the capital city Malakali.
The route was a long and cold way to travel. Loial who never been outside his village area was very excited and frighten of to see the outside world but curious why such orders was sent out. He was wondering if the orcish race, which has been quite peaceful the last
decade had waken up their rage and invaded human lands. After 2 weeks he was finally there. At the training camp he went to see the recruit manager. He was a tall man with just a light armor and a golden dagger at his side.

Loial got orders describing where his new home was going to be, and went to pack up his small bag of belongings. Time went by and when the sun went down, suddenly an alarm of trumpets and drums sounded through the camp. Everyone dragged their weapons and dashed down to the
meeting place. News what was going on had just arrived. A large man who where panting and dripping with sweat came up to the stage and said loudly to everyone there.
- We live in dangerous times. An new Enemy far more dangerous than the orcs or the undead have appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Last month something fell down from the sky on the Yrindai islands*.
Some people where mumbling something about the one we dont speak of, Loial wasn't paying attention what was being said around him. The large man started to shout again.
- Our settlement reached the shores 2 weeks ago and since then has been building up our defences. However our defeats are increasing for each day that pass by.
- There is new types of creatures which makes our own comrades coming back from the dead attacking us. We believe the undeads has allied with this Unknown force.
- We also belive that the orcs are beeing hired by the Undeads as we've seen hybrid orcs at the battlefield. However our sources are not sure about this subject.
- The reason why we recruited you should be clear for you now. Your here to help fight this evil away before it reaches Lylinthia and destroys humanity and everything with it.
* Yrindai was located to the far north of Lylinthia and was mostly just snow and ice.
Time passed, they practiced hand to hand combat. Even though many of them where weak using magic they practiced light healing and small combat moves that required magic usage.
After 3 months everything seemed to be lost on the battlefield in Yrindai. However the king decided to let the training continue until they had a plan to stop this kind of evil force. Even this far
from Yrindai we started to feel the evil and power from the Unknown, It started affecting people. It made people become insane, some people went berserk and runned wild into the wilderness and became cannibals or thieves.
Newly borned children also started to die more frequently becasue of this force. Loial was training with his newly made sword, Spiked edge, when a messager came up to him and delivered a note from the general. It had the generals' Red Eagle stamp on it.
The leatter red; "Present yourself in my tent immediately. There's no time".
Loial went to see the general at his tent and saw the general and his secondary in command talking loudly.
- I heard from my second in command that you're a very fast learner and your condition are higher than normal. I got a quest for you, however weither you wish to accept it or not, it's up to you.
- I humbly accept it, my general.
- Great to hear. Your're leaving at dawn and are going to travel to the forbidden woods.
- To the forbidden woods? that's forbidden place where no man have set their foot in thousands of years. What shall be my duty there?
- One of the greatest Elder wizards lives there. We will need his aid in our battle against the Unknown. He's very experienced with things that we find unfamiliar and there is rumors that he can forecast the future.
- I see. I will get my things together and head out at dawn.
- Farewell and may the gods be with you.
The dawn came and Loial went away in search of the Elder wizard in the forbidden woods. He took the boat to Shegra and rented a horse get to the forbidden woods faster. Time was running out for mankind, it seemed.
He later reached the forgotten woods and entered trough an entangled path. There was very little sunlight reaching the ground trough the overgrown trees. No one had walked this path in a long time.
Loial stepped carefully of his horse and looked around himself in controlled fear of what might be lurking around. He found a path that wasnt so entangled as before. Suddenly a rabbit jumped out of a sturdy bush nearby, whcih made him fall on his back.
He wondered what scared the rabbit to run away in such haste. Suddenly a creature Loial didn't recognize appeared in front of him. It looked something like a giant rat, but with spikes all around, and with a tail that was unusually long.
The Mutated rat inspected Loial and sent out an fearsome scream. Loial paniced and raised his swordattacking with his sword wrecklessly against the big rat creature but the monster was faster and stronger. It knocked Loial into a tree and he passed away into unconciousness.
A few hours later Loial woke up in a bed. Next to him sat this grey-haired old man but he wasn't looking old. He had great facial features. Loial sat up looked around and asked
- Where am i?
- In safety (in my home) the old man said
- Who are you?
- Im the last elder wizard of the third order*, alive.
- It cant be. I was searching for you and here you are.
- I know.

Chapter 2
Yes we are sorry but we got a little delayed due some heavy testing and bugs needed to be fixed. We decided to release it next friday as thats a better day

Well develope something big yourself and then say there wont be any bugs. There will always be bugs you didnt thought of or found. I wont release an bugged game, Im like blizzard it should be perfect before released. That ^ made me lol
