UPDATING items.otb to newer version

Sup, I just got an RL map 8.60, but seems to use older items.otb, not the one that REM uses for this newer versions... I think mapeditor requested it as 8.60(old) if I remember well.

It's there anyway of updating items.otb to the new version REM is using without messing up the hole map? Cause I have just tryed going to properties and changing map version or client version, but it will just mess everything up. In this specific map when I go to properties it displays as if it was CLIENT VERSION 8.40 and MAP VERSION Otserv 0.6.1 but is working with 8.60 server. So can it be updated to a newer items.otb without messing up the map?

So how to do it?, and if there is not a way yet, is someone thinking about doing a script or program to update all this? Thanks

Use RME's items.otb with your server.

yeah I've tryed that, but then many zones like the ones un fermine lizzards goes crazy and there are items liying around everywere... treasure chest, walls are all wrong, and so on.. so probably need to convert the map first some way to a newer version without messing the map and items placement, so how could I do this?

Noo, if they are same then there shouldn't be a problem.
Well maybe you should've let RME update your map to new IDs.
