[Patch Notes] 02.12.2012

Today we released a huge balancing update based on players proposals and our calculations and thoughts.​

Common changes(no special order):​
  • Training system was rewritten, to make training more comfortable and smooth running.
  • Nightmare lance addon requires 100 soul orbs now(was 50).
  • Doofwipe, a merchant in Valiance Keep now offers nightmare helmet addon.
  • Fixed jester staff addon.
  • Corrected spells which were shown as non-premium, while actually they needed promotion. So yeah, Challenge and party spells are premium only.
  • Corrected most of quest logs, all quests with lots of missions, were showing wrong missions info.
  • Disabled market and parceling for rookers.
  • Fixed a blocked quest on dragon lords respawn, north from Blackrock mountain.
  • Added some better tips to paradox tower/demon oak quest, fixed some bugs.
  • Fixed bug with houses rent, when players were losing their houses due to unpaid rent while they actually had money.
  • Fixed bug when premium days were not updated properly.
  • Lots of code tuning.
  • Since today, there will be quick server restart in the morning(9:00 server time). All players will be warned before.
  • Now its possible to have more than one player online.
  • NPC Inper arrived to Valkyrion(needed for Barbarian Haircut addon).
  • Soul cost for gold transforming was lowered once again by 50%.
  • Better raids 'picking' formula, for better raids randomization(previously some raids/boss monsters were spawning way too often compared to how they should). There will be raid's page on website available soon, with spoilers. More raids were turned ON.
  • Processed a lot of players reports(!report talkaction). I would like to thank everyone for helping with bugs exploring, all your reports being stored into database, and the most active players will be rewarded one day.
  • Paralyze rune power was decreased for ~10%.


Balance changes:​

A lot of changes in distance weapons/ammunitions were made, in order to balance paladins life. All the changes are listed below:

Throwing weapons(average hit change increased to 83%, from 75%):
  • Spear. Attack value: 23(from 25). Price: 8(from 10.)
  • Throwing knife. Attack value: 28(from 25). Break chance: 5%(from 7%). Price: 30(from 25). Level requirement: 15(from 0).
  • Hunting spear. Attack value: 31(from 32). Break chance: 5%(from 6%). Price: 30(from 18). Level requirement: 25(from 20).
  • Throwing star. Attack value: 33(from 30). Break chance: 8%(from 10%). Price: 60(from 50). Level requirement: 35(from 0).
  • Viper star. Attack value: 36(from 28). Range: 3(from 4). Break chance: 6%(from 9%). Price: 70(from 80). Level requirement: 40(from 0).
  • Royal spear. Attack value: 40(from 35). Break chance: 7%(from 3%). Price: 70(from 25). Level requirement: 50(from 25).
  • Enchanted spear. Attack value: 44(from 38). Range: 3(from 4). Break chance: 5%(from 1%). Level requirement: 55(from 42).
  • Assassin star. Attack value: 63(from 65). Break chance: 25%(from 33%).

Enchant Spear(exeta con) level increased to 55.

Guns:
  • New item: Revolver. Its distance weapon, which using bullets as ammo. Can be bought from any equipper for 2200 gold coins. Attack: 15. Range: 4. Level requirement: 35.
  • Iron gun wasn't changed. Attack value: 22.
  • Shotgun. Attack value: 38(from 40).
  • Shell. Attack: 40. Price: 40(from 70).
  • Bullet. Attack: 20. Price: 8(from 20).


Crossbows:
  • Basic crossbow is not changed.
  • Modified crossbow now can be looted from Dragon, Minotaur Archer and Dwarf Soldier. It has 2 bonus attack and 1% bonus hit chance. Can be sold to Bumlump for 500 gold. Level requirement: 30.
  • Ironworker now ingame. It has 5 bonus attack. Level requirement: 60.
  • Arbalest. Attack value: 8(from 2). Level requirement: 75.
  • Bolts are not being changed. Attack: 30.
  • Piercing bolts are not being changed. Attack: 33.
  • Power bolts are not being changed. Attack: 40.
  • Infernal bolt. Attack value: 50(from 43). Price: 10(from 16).

Bows:
  • Basic bow is not changed.
  • Elvish bow being looted from Elf Scouts and grants now 2 bonus attack.
  • Composite hornbow is not being changed. Attack: 3. Hit chance: 2%.
  • Elethriels elemental bow is not being changed. Attack: 7.
  • Ornament Bow. Attack value: 10(from 0). Level requirement: 75.
  • Basic arrows are not being changed.
  • Poison arrow. Attack value: 25(from 22). Price: 3(from 4). Level requirement: 25(from 0).
  • Sniper arrow. Attack value: 31(from 28). Price: 4(from 3). Level requirement: 35(from 20).
  • Burst arrow. Attack value: 35(from 25). Price: 10(from 12). Level requirement: 45(from 0).
  • Onyx arrow. Attack value: 40(from 38). Level requirement: 50(from 40).
  • All elemental arrows(flash, flaming, shiver and earth). Attack value: 45(from 25). Level requirement: 65(from 0).



Potions changes:​
  • Health potion heals 90-180(from 100-200)
  • Strong health potion heals 250-350(from 200-400)
  • Great health potion heals 400-600(from 500-700)
  • Ultimate health potion heals 700-900(from 800-1000)
  • Mana potion restores 85-150 mana(from 70-130)
  • Strong mana potion restores 125-220 mana(from 110-190)
  • Great mana potion restores 220-360 mana(from 180-300)
  • Great spirit potion heals 250-350(from 200-400), restores 140-200 mana(from 110-190)
 
anyhow I cant login it keeps telling me cannot connect to the login server. Connection timed out. :/
 
Today I've patched some minor changes(most of the changes wont be noticeable for current players, as we are mostly working on extending our players base right now):​

  • *Territory south to Valkyrion is now unlocked; There you can find Frost Giants, Frost Dragon Hatchlings, Crystal Spiders, Ice Witches and all kind of Barbarians.
  • *Experience rate increased on lower levels, up to level 50. Experience rate for rook slayers is not affected by this change.
  • *A lot of changes to make game start more friendly and clear.
  • *Dworcs spawn was moved to north of Thunder Bluff(sibangs spawn).
  • *Edits to raids, to make them more friendly(proper announcements, more hints). Aswell as some bosses power was changed a bit.
  • *Free players now able to swap their dependant spells without premium.
  • *Avoided crash reason we reproduced few days ago.
  • *Fixed an issue when rook players were appearing on main trainers(if someone is still belongs to mainland, feel free to contact staff to get tped back to ebon hold).
  • *Light Healing, Light and Find Person spells now are free and learned by default.
  • *All new accounts receiving 3 days of premium time by default.
  • *Fixed all the bugged closed doors over the map.
  • *A lot of minor changes which cannot be listed here.
 
wheres that old spawn of sibang, i cant find it, and i dont know of any
