[USA] Arthas::Lordaeron [9.x | custom] - New Era!

Today we have patched our changes ingame! Here is the changelog:

  • Second part of monsters balance. Most of low leveled monsters were reviewed, to balance their strength optimally for newcomers.
  • Completely rewrote raids system, now it got much better algorithms for picking a raid, based on much factors.
  • Those monsters had changes: Bonelord(lowered missiles frequency), Crystal Wolf(lowered average damage, added missing loot), Chakoyas(corrected loot rates, corrected loot), Cultists(balanced loot rates), Dark Torturer(corrected loot items and rates), Nightstalker(added healing spell, corrected loot rates), Blue Djinn(added missing items, corrected loot rates), Dragon Lord(increased loot chance a little bit, corrected average damages), Ghastly Dragon(increased melee damage, added paralyze wave, removed healing spell, added missed loot, balanced loot rates), Wyrm(experience increased by 100 points), Overcharged Energy Elemental(corrected loot rates), Stone Golem(lowered experience by 80 points, added missed loot), Spectre(added life drain attack, speed spell, increased healing spell and mana drain spell values, corrected loot), Mad Mage(lowered average damage), Insect Swarm(added life drain attack), Scarab(added poison missile, lowered melee damage, corrected loot), Lizard Chosen(corrected loot rates), Lizard Zaogun(added missing loot), Mutated Human(corrected average damage and loot rates), Serpent Spawn(increased chance for wave attacks, increased base armors and defense), Swamp Troll(lowered experience gain by 35 points(was a bug), added missing loot, corrected rest of rates), Grim Reaper(corrected loot rates), Vampire Bride(increased chances for spell casts, added missing loot, corrected rest of loot rates), more minor changes. (*by correcting loot rates, usually I meant minor changes in most of them, however in few cases there were huge loot nerfs).
  • Ferumbras: health was increased to 50000(from 35000), increased resistance to ice and holy. Loot rate was lowered a lot, as ferumbras had way too much loot compared to his power.
  • Orshabaal: health was increased to 65000(from 25000), now he resist 50% of fire damage also. Added more items to loot variety, to fit the current loot rate of ferumbras.
  • Grazbaran: health increased to 100000(from 60000). Increased loot rates a bit.
  • Zoralurk: health increased to 110000(from 65000), loot rates were lowered a little bit, as his death was much more profitable for players than rest of bosses.
  • Morgaroth: health increased to 110000(from 65000).
  • Total rebalancing of single spawn bosses, increased their strength and loot drop. The only nerf was to addon items dropped by bosses, now, chance to drop addon item is not 100% anymore(50-80% now). Bosses affected by those changes(listed order from most powerfull):The Imperor, Inky, The Plasmother, Grand Mother Foulscale, Zarabustor, Dracola, Stonecracker, Dreadwing, The Many, The Count, Leviathan, Baron Brute, Glitterscale, Esmeralda, Basilisk, Cursed Faith, Killer Caiman, Foreman Kneebiter, Man In The Cave, Apprentice Sheng, Dire Penguin, Tibia Bug, Munster.
  • Raid bosses also had much changes, actually most of them were buffed, aswell as their loot items were rematched, in order to fit current monsters power. Raid bosses affected(monsters placed in order, from strongest to weakest): Captain Jones, Chikhaton, Demodras, Sharptooth, The Old Widow, Koshei The Deathless, Yakchal, Tiquandas Revenge, Ron The Ripper, Deadeye Devious, Brutus Bloodbeard, Lethal Lissy, Cublarc The Plunderer, Thul, Menace, Fatality, Barbaria, Fernfang, Grorlam, The Horned Fox, Mad Technomancer, Necropharus, Xenia, General Murius, Hairman The Huge, Rotworm Queen, Big Boss Trolliver.
  • If player is dying from Boss monster(white, red skulled mobs), he is not losing his items(while still losing blessings and experience).
  • Now its possible to ask any mage spell trainer to try to find any single boss monster spawned. For a small fee(1000-3000 gold), they will try to find for spawned bosses and incase boss was found, they will give you a possibility to use your 'exiva' spell in order to find a boss.


Other changes:

  • Fixed private messages(right click menu for players).
  • Now all the Merchants NPCS are buying creature's products.
  • Added Nightstalkers spawn under Catedra.
  • Fixed issue when house was instantly cleaned if owner was losing premium account. Now there will be warning sent before cleaning, so owner will have some time to renew his premium.
  • Fixed "Thirsty of Treasure", "It's Far From Salvation" achievements.
  • Updated webpage character progress page(to display tip closer to cursor).
  • Warsinger Bow now got 15 bonus attack, and can be looted from those bosses: Inky, The Count, The Imperor, Zarabustor.
  • Deepling and Entrepreneur outfits were disabled from game and will be introduced back with next updates.
  • Newcomers now receive 100 potions on level 15(was 20), and on level 20 they receive 10000 gold.
  • Fixed bug when training room code was requested way too early.
  • Souls are no more needed for transforming gold.
  • Now you will automatically mount once you leave protection zone if you got mount set.
  • Autostacking of players is limited to 5 players now.
  • Now client will try to automatically re-open channels you had on last logout.
  • Added swimming zone on Ebon Hold and Valiance Keep.
  • Processed some of saved reports, some more map work.



As much of players are having lags during last weeks, the only solution I can find is to move our host to Europe location. As currently we are hosted on a dedicated server placed in USA, so ping rate for most of EU countries is pretty much huge. Server was working without any profit for last months, but now we need to collect money for a new dedicated. Thats why we are opening more donations offers in next days, we are going to accept paypal donations aswell.


Premium changes:

  • Premium Mount(Shadow Draptor) now offers you 50 bonus speed(was 40) and +5% of bonus maximum HEALTH and MANA while you're mounted.
  • New premium shop offer: Insectoid outfit. This outfit comes with a unique bonus, which grants you +5% of bonus HEALTH and MANA. Outfit comes without addons, and addons will be available ingame(since next patch for sure). Outfit is a shop exclusive and will never be obtainable ingame.

Kinda sad ive not much time to play since school started, anyway keep up the great work mate :D
 
Any eta when server starts again?

16/1-2013: About reset date, it mostly will be announced tomorrow/after tomorrow. We should make a plan first, then we gonna think about date we will be able to finish it.
