This seems cool, why does nobody play?

its because the opening page doesnt show anything...... the first post needs like 2000 more words with Gifs and images to represent how great this server is.... its single handedly shooting itself in the foot without it.

if there was some pictures that show a bit more of the server, bosses/mobs anything, i'd be more inclined to download and try.
"100's of new mechanics" why not show some off in a gif, to hype the server, show off some hunting spawns, bosses, spells, unique systems etc, hype it up a bit

people love custom ots, and this one honestly doesnt "sound" bad but it just looks lazily advertised which puts me off

My bad for the lazy advertisement, I will admit its not one of my strongest suits.

Server is now offline as we approach a new Season.

Every character will be wiped.

Accounts will remain as long as they have at least one level 20 Character on it.

New Season will bring a plethora of new Updates, you can follow it on our Discord.

I strongly suggest retiring this thread and reopening with a new thread. Do a carefully written post going over the systems and include a video and screen shots.

You deserve way more active players.

When is the new server up?

New Season has no fixed date yet, but the server will come back soon with a few events to spice things up and for testing the Promotions.

There are a few videos of the new mechanics & promotions in the OTServ's Discord.

Server returns for testing promotions on Friday. It will feature 5x Experience, Skill, Loot and Incursed Mob Chance.

We will be using the current map in the server, so there will be no new areas for this testing period. That is on purpose.

Only new mechanics included will be:

Promotions
New Balance
Transformation Rework
Summons

Priests in the temple will be able to promote and demote you for free, as long as you're level 80+. The Prestige System will not be required during this testing period.

Server is back online with a 5x Exp, Skill, ML & Loot to test Promotions and other new systems before the Wipe.
