I'd use it as like some crystal ball.. With souls trapped inside.. maybe use it for a "merlin" quest and he "accidently" gets trapped inside his ball.

You should make different versions (Green, Red, Yellow, Orange)
green for sure would suit jungle ruins, try add some markings on the outer pedestal thing.

The floor has not been made by me

The walls aren't matching because of the surrounding cave, make some cave sprites that would suit it ^_^, those brown ones are far too bright.
