Idea ban popup.

I don't know if there is a thread for ideas to the forgotten server, but I've got an idea:

There is a popup function, so why don't we use it on g/cm's to ban players.

Look at this:
When you say "/ban" or w/e.
A screen popups with some chooses:

-Ip ban
-Ban
-Namelock
~etc
-Name
-How long
w/e.

I don't know how to make it but maybe it's just an idea.

With rule violation system banning people?

I think you've got something else in ur mind .

Because I dont have much free time at the moment. But if I have nothing else to do I can make it.

isn't this almost the same as the ban panel? ctrl+Y

it looks like that to me, the only diffrence is the time field, thats not in the panel.

And i dont think that anyone can make this, since we cannot make ingame GUI's only popup windows.

the only way i see this as a possibility would be if you had an NPC (made with the old system) on StandBy so when you say /ban and your group_id is higher or equal to the minimum it would give you a message, just like the ACC maker.

example:
NPC = (blue console text)
GM: /ban
NPC: Who would you like to ban? say "exit" to abort.
GM: Nob
NPC: This player does not exists, enter another name.
GM: Noob
NPC: And for what reason?
GM: Beeing a noob
NPC: Type of ban; IP ban, Ban, Namelock?
GM: Ban
NPC: How long do you want to ban Noob?
GM: 1 hour
Broadcast: Noob has been banned for 1 hour, reason: Beeing a noob.

or make it all in 1 talkaction.

Well ctrl + Y i've never seen but i think my idea is abit more complicated.

I'll try to learn the system of popup and stuff and i will try to make something, or someone else.

It is possible to make an popup windows but you need to use these things.

It's maybe not so usefull but it looks beter then say: '/ban Henkie or w/e

In popup you can maybe fix the days, reason and you can select what ban you want.
