You're the rich spoiled bitch here. Please, use your brain before making a retarded statement in the future. Most artists are making more money than most can dream of. Educate yourself.

Do you actually hear yourself. Your comment makes me want to go to where ever you are and slap the shit out of you. Greedy artists? No it's called hard work. Just imagine you start selling shit and people steal your products and give it out for free. You're getting nothing out of it. You would know how it felt if you were actually an artist who was being robbed from their profits. I mean after all who wants to work for free?

Really, because I don't see Eminem, 50 cent, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, or any other famous artist going broke because of Limewire, they get enough money from commercials, record labels, mtv, etc... If I was an artist I would care more about the fact that so many people listen and love my music rather than am I making 100 million dollars, or 150 million dollars. If you're an artist for the money, then yea you are greedy. They create the work and release it, I'm not stealing anything. Did I go to Eminem's house and take his cds? I most certainly did not. They are rich enough as it is, you remind me of the South Park spoof about music sharing websites, it humors me. Yea, they word ever so hard. And what about the millions of people who work their ass off 12-14 hours a day and make the same amount of money in one year that this famous artist will make in one day. Don't confuse hard work with passion. Before the song becomes known,a record label pays the artist for it and distributes it, so the artist is never working for free. And do try to explain yourself without insults please, it only makes you seem more incompetent.

You're actually stealing it. You don't pay for the music = you take it without their permission = you're stealing = illegal.

It's not stealing because you're only making a copy, nobody is losing anything. The majority of people who download music would never pay for it anyways, you can listen to most new popular songs legally for free through youtube (official videos), radio, tv ect. Without people listening to the artists music, the artist would have nothing. If I download a song, never intending to pay for it.. it only benefits them. They never lost anything and gained a fan who'll spread their music, purchase band merchandise and goto their concerts.

I didn't say they were going broke jackass. I said you were stealing their products. It doesn't matter whether their rich or poor. You're still taking the product that is supposed to be sold, and getting it for free. HENCE THE DEFINITION OF STEALING! Now please STFU.

Okay, so if it's only 'copying' go photocopy a 100 dollar bill and try using it.

Let me start off with repeating what I previously said, educate yourself. Motherfucker.

Stealing is wrong, no doubt. But downloading isn't stealing. If I steal an album from a record store, no one else can buy it. But when I download a song, no one loses it and another person gets it. There's no ethical problem, see?

And no faggot, you're not getting away with a banishment that would be way too easy for you. I want a proper answer. :)

-.- unintelligent remark.

He has a point can't you just agree to disagree.
Wow all of you are retarded. How isn't the artist losing money? Songs that are supposed to be bought, are being copied and distributed throughout the internet. So nobody is losing anything? I don't pay for songs myself, but I wouldn't make an argument saying that artists aren't losing anything when we download their work for free. Like I said before, you all would understand if you were an artist being cheated out of your earnings.

And the staff complains about our profanity? Nice way to lead by expectation.

Yeah, id understand and feel bad while I laugh my way to the bank with all the money.

There is a huge difference between photocopying a 100$ bill and downloading music. If you tried to profit financially off of copying music, then I would be against it.

Every moderator stands for his/her own actions. I have never complained about the use of profanity; I have never given someone an infraction for it and I believe I never will. However, even my posts are sometimes removed by other moderators that don't find it suitable.

Her (or his, w/e) fucking bitch attitude provokes me like hell, lol.

Okay, so if it's only 'copying' go photocopy a 100 dollar bill and try using it.

If you make a perfect copy of a one hundred dollar bill you can use it, however every banknote has its own serial number I believe. If there are 1000 copies of a song, each one is exactly the same, they don't have their own serial number, so it is different from copying a hundred dollar bill. If you made a perfect copy, you could definitely use it.

Secondly, the artists sell their song to the record labels who release it. Just because something is illegal or legal doesn't make it wrong or right, artists will always be making money because not only do you buy their merchandise(t-shirts, mugs, hats, etc..), they also SELL their songs to record labels who then release it. Record labels are always scamming people, it's just fair that there are music-sharing sites and programs you can get music from. Do you really think today's artists would be so popular and making so much money without music-sharing websites. 99% of people who have ipods get their songs from music-sharing websites, they don't pay a dollar for each song from itunes. So despite the artists' whining and crying, they are actually making more money and are more popular because more people listen to their music from via music-sharing websites.

If you download a song without paying for it - you take the song without permission from the author - yes noone loses it but you still steal.
Stealing over the internet or stealing in a store; It's the same.

That being said, it's already illegal in the law. If you actually did admit in front of a camera or such, you would get a bill or in extreme cases go to jail.

Now.. you're gonna say the law doesn't count on the internet? :)

Moderators should be role models, not wannabe thugs trying to fit in. ;)
