If protection limit -> will result in people blocking of areas with noobchars. I will change the PvP-System just a little, just need to figure out what to do with it. Further more I've made a attempt to fix monsters double hit.

That should not be such a big problem, as you can just make it severely illegal to abuse noob chars like that. People often cam, and if they cam some1 doing that, just ban the ip of that character. I doub't many will abuse it then.

I have to agree, i'd rather have more players and some of them using bots than having 15 players online as it is now.

Masterscores has an "anti-bot client", but it's shit because even Tibia Auto works on it.

Ond, maybe theres someone who can help you with it? Also if you get a lot of players you can start with donations, just minor ones like f.e

At Drinc, I will not enable donations because I am still not here to gain money + there shall be no advantages for anyone. Also I don't have alot of time scanning the server for botters and beleive me when I say it, there will be MANY botters. People will bot if they can.

If I had a working client it would be different but it's not, I can't generate such client and I can't ask for help to same person forever, he already helped me with such client, however it died by bugs.

Actually, in wars, I'd rather see the noob chars with non pvp. Because those fkers just make me get RS all the time. Was like that on Mastercores. There are always gonna be problems with noob chars. Some problems exist if they are in pvp, some exist if they are out of pvp. Atleast the ones that pop up if they are out pvp, can be solved by GMs. GMs can't do anything about people disrupting war by diying by the ppl they dont like to give them frags.

Also, those donations tips from Dinc, please no. I wouldn't play with those donations anyhow. Donations as they were on Mastercores was just fine tho.

I think this whole OT becoming sad, everytime you're going to finally make your runes someone comes to kill you when you reach 5 bps, everytime you skill your knight you're going to die withing 1 hr losing your eq, this friggen sux... happend to me more then 10 times last 3 days and i'm pretty tierd same character owns me over and over it will end up with only 1 player on your server soon if you don't fix it it's to fast exp for this mana reg... their lvl 80s now that just pwn you the fuck out... anyway i'll leave the ot until it's better

I love this server, i really do but the server is dead.

Please make this 7.7, even if you can't fix antibot for it. Everyone here agrees that it will be better than having a server with 10 players online at 9 PM. I'm not saying the because i want a reset or anything, i'm saying this because i love this server and it would be successful if it was 7.7

Ond, this is the best server with a custom map i've ever played, and i'd love to see it with a huge success.

Server is pretty much dead. 3 players online on average, 6 at peak times. Even fixing the problems that I (Jaid) pointed out won't get the server back up on it's feet. Once you drop to so few players there's no way out without restarting. You need to fix the map a little, get a client that supports dx9 and take a new approach on problems that you refused to fix and then do a complete reset, open a new thread and possibly change the server name.

First off I am glad that many people have taken an interest in my server, thank you. Secondly, I don't know if it's worth it at the time to spend many hours to fix a new client when Alot of people will just join RealOTs in or less than 7 days. I can make it 7.72 and modify the client a little bit but I will need someone to test Black D and Tibiaauto for me. Also the server needs to be closed for a few days to remaking the map once again and also cover up the bugs that was found on the 7.4 map. And since there is barely anyone on the server, I might just listen to this thread. But of course I will also listen to the players that are not active here.

First question is, and please do answer in honest since it will take me several hours to fix it:
Is it worth changing the client due to the reason of realots.net is coming?
Second: Would a reset be needed? I am not sure if the database matches the 7.72 engine, and would you then be upset if I, in the end, would be forced to reset?
Third: Give me ideas of the PvP Formula/System to reduce random player killing in low levels and in general.
My own ideas would be PvP Only (not enforced), longer time to decrease frags and keep the 3/rs 6/ban formula.

I don't know how to make it better. I can't make videos... and I made this thread a week before start so alot of people did see it coming but chose to play other servers since they were also opening.

Just switch to 7.72 and ban all botters, that's all what i got to say. I don't think RealOTS is going to be like the old one.
EDIT: I'm ready to test for you Tibia Auto and Black D
And no, you won't lose any players since you had a few players that play (That's if you reset)
And yes, it's worth switching the client since RealOTS is coming.
I won't even try to play RealOTS since
7.4 = 11 FPS = Nothing to do there, super freezes.
