There's just too many NPCs in general, everywhere.

Are they causing you any problems? Because I'm not sure what the problem is. Are you just not used to having npcs walk around the town?
 
Imo, they are just so useless, you have so many npc's and they don't even do anything. Maybe give them some kind of dialogs, maybe some npc can tell you information about where a secret quest is or just stuff like that.
 
Ive lost 10 min trying to find how to talk to them when server got release lol. Hi hoi ih quest mission job offer trade task hello etc etc...
 
Yeah theyre just there for decoration / to make the city feel more alive. (Kind of like when you walked around in orgrimmar in WoW).
 
Ye right.. Your adding stuff. Most of that doesnt change the fact you could be releasing the real thing ( people will have the feeling they're not wasting time ). And stuff you added can be simple fix. Ascalon come to my mind. Just check the thread. Started out pretty small.. They doing update ,changing dmg value etc even if its the real thing.

I noticed that map is enough for 5h exploring also mobs are mostly for <30lvl which take few hours to gain it, didn't you? Ascalon isn't good example here, content is still small and it's generally boring after few hours cuz main point there is exp/grinding. Also there are some crash bugs which are annoying and some ppl will stop cuz of it.

There's a lot to do/balance, some classes could be op at start, then ppl will complain about reset. Good example is Necronia, there was a lot changes after release which caused a lot of discussions.
 
I honestly didnt like all those wandering npcs around the city either, wayyyy too many.. Bumped into quite some npcs aswell

A couple of NPC's will be mission NPC's. Remember this is just the start of the awesomeness. You will see ;)
 
If the npcs become too much of a problem I have no objection to removing them.
 
Update: All npcs now have a chance to 'drop' loot. This can be gold, plat, herbs, potions, or other things.
 
What do you mean drop? Do item just randomly fly out?

This server has huge potential, I just honestly think quite some stuff have to be done, in order to properly play it and get a good amount of steady players.

Would love to see some spell names tho :p These current spell names seems like a shortcut to save time xD

Would love to know which ones you think are lazy. Would like to hear about it on the forums, but if you can't be bothered to do that, here is fine too.
 
Is the server online? The website says it's offline.

on site it says thats its offline but it is online actually
 
I agree remove lots of those NPCS, annoying. :/

Most of the stuff can easily be tested in 10min if you use a fake char with infinite pots. Make a new spell and test it. Check the exaust.check the dmg.. I think your quite ready for a release and whatever get added be test a little to see if its wayyy too much bug. Then dmg,exhaust,etc can be modified. Same with npc etc... The game is there ready to play...the rest is just expansion...as i said,its ready and waiting on it.
