What forum was it in? AFAIK there is a few forums that donators don't have access over their threads.
 
If I recall correctly it was removed because it was being abused.
 
The otland.net can be accessed by dedicated gameserver? or share account with other peoples?
 
Is that possible to pay via mobile phone? If yes does paypal support polish networks like Plus, Play, Orange etc. ?

Questions about Premium Board

Hiho,

I have few questions about stuff in premium board. I had premium like months and months ago ago and I went to my friend's house today and he showed me the premium board on his account...
It has changed completely. So before I'm gonna purchase premium myself I want to ask few questions about it:

1. First of all, I've seen all these threads with different tfs, some of them were called 0.4 and some 0.3.7 but working on client 8.6???? Could someone explain that clearly to me please? But very clearly please, why did 0.4 change to 0.3.7....
2. secondly, in the private subversion, there were 2 branches as far as I saw.... 0.3 and 0.2... Now, which one is for which tibia protocol???? One of them i saw description was for 9.8x so was the other one was 8.6?

Are the threads with tfs 0.4 (now 0.3.7) made by users kind of like, a contribution to the whole 8.6 idea? I mean, I found the whole premium board VERY VERY MESSY and seriously, I think that premium users should get something more than unclear mess...

It wasn't liike that those months ago when I was premium...

I will have more questions whenever I get answers for the above ones.

Its not as linear as you might think

the latest version of both 0.2 and 0.3 are almost always the most recent tibia version, they are just 2 different paths of TFS, 0.2 being a more stable server, but having less scripting capabilities while 0.3 has more scripting capabilities, but slightly less stable(someone correct me if I'm wrong)
I believe that 0.4 was changed to 0.3.7 because Talaturen didn't felt like the new additions were worth a whole new number, and maybe he's keeping it for when the revscriptsys is implemented, but this is just my opinion, I don't remember if an actual reason was given
Whenever you read 8.6 in the Premium Board, it just means that its either an old version from the 8.6 time or a new version that has modified sources to work with 8.6

All the mess you see in the Premium Board is created by the users themselves, the TFS Developers don't have threads with the compiled versions, so some users decide to compile themselves and then share the compiled server with other members

Will there ever be a "Gift member" premium. Since if i wanted to donate and give to someone then i should be able to delegate that. The donation is given nonetheless.

I understand we could buy more days ourselves and just pm Talaturen and he could remove them from you and add them to a chosen member, but we shouldn't have to. I can't see it being a hard concept/feature to the forum to be applied.

I did make a suggestion of this awhile ago when i hosted a spriting competition but it never got officially resolved afaik.

So, for years now users were buying premium just to get tfs 0.4.

So, now... Which one is the safest and newest tfs for tibia 8.6 developed by the otland developers?

And also, tfs which were updated to 9.8x but were changed to work for tibia 8.6 in some threads - why would someone do that? So now if i want to have the newest tfs for 8.6, I must change all my scripts in my data because some functions were changed/removed? Is that what otland developers did to 8.6? I am completely lost, I mean like, Im not even talking about the mess in premium board but the Otland's Subversion is very unclear to me and probably to some new users as well (and I am not a new user).

Where is the real tfs 0.4 for 8.6? Where can I find the official tfs for protocol 8.6????? Please share a link with me...

The OTLand Developers no longer work on 8.6 TFS, they are constantly updating TFS to the latest version.
The most popular 0.4 TFS for 8.6 version is made by MartyX and it is available for download when you're a donator member here.
