I have the latest version of the client and the map editor and don't work.
I have tested on ubuntu 13.04 and on windows 7 and i have the same problem.

I don't get it either, what's the problem? Are you unable to do anything other than load the map? You can render stuff in your map and save it.

First time checking out OTClient...WTF is this sorcery! I feel ashamed for not trying out the client before today. Looks so awsome, contains login screen sound and runs so smooth you can see the butter drip down your screen. Love it! :w00t:

Sidenote: while using the prebuild binares with the latest mapeditor version all I see is a black screen. Copied the otclient.exe directly into the unzipped forgottenmapeditor-master folder.

That's because the latest OTClient binary is quite outdated. You need to manually compile, it's a pretty easy process (if you follow one of the tutorials in the OTClient wiki).

Will you illustrate how can't you edit them? This is pretty confusing. I can't help you with the information provided.

That would be neat, but it's C++ based, and Mac can't run C++ applications unless in a VirtualBox :c
