A Games Room (Board games and Football/Ice Hockey arena) was also added to rook, for our Rookstayer friends. This can be found in the trading room.

Lastly just a heads up. As we are in the midst of a bit of a housing crisis, there will be some changing coming soon the requirements of Premium Account time and Houses/Beds, Guildhalls/Guilds.

More information about these changes and the new requirements they will have will be announced soon once more details have been ironed out and adjusted.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my experience with account management on the Nostalther server and my interactions with the administrator, Panther.

About a week ago, I regained access to an account that was previously shared with other players. I was the original owner of this account and had access to it earlier, but I wasn’t sure if the password was still correct. Recently, I tried logging in and, to my surprise, the password worked. To secure the account, I verified my email and changed the password.

Unfortunately, the player who had been using this account after me reported the issue to the admin, Panther, claiming the account had been taken over. As a result, the account was locked under the pretense of a security threat. I reached out to Panther on Discord to explain the situation, but instead of engaging in a conversation, I was immediately banned from the Nostalther Discord server.

When I finally managed to get in touch with Panther, he immediately began asking me questions unrelated to the issue, such as my name, where I’m from, why I use a VPN, which characters I have, etc. I refused to answer these irrelevant questions, which I believe were outside his authority as an admin. Instead of focusing on resolving the problem, he accused me of being disrespectful and labeled me a hacker, even though I had legally verified my account.

Panther also demanded "proof" that I created the account, even though the only proof needed should be my verified email, which I believe should be sufficient. Unfortunately, Panther stated that he didn’t know me, which could imply favoritism towards players he knows personally. The player who reported the issue is a member of the dominant guild, which might have influenced his decision. It seems like all you need to do is know the admin to get away with anything.

Despite asking multiple times why I was banned on Discord, Panther never provided an answer. Instead, he kept asking odd questions and accused me of avoiding answers, which is quite hypocritical. He also asked about the entire history of my conflict with Matt, which shouldn’t concern him at all.

At the end, Panther wrote something like:

"Honest people don't evade questions and are disrespectful like this. Actual victims are much more concerned with the account and goods, not interested in eluding questions and being intentionally vague. I deal with people like you every day. Every botter I ban tells me the same story with the same attitude."

He also added:

"You all just think I'm stupid or something. You didn't tell me if or who you sent parcels to. You won't say who your other chars are, who you are, who you know or who your friends are, what your location is, hiding behind a fake Discord account and VPNs. Nothing but red flags."
According to Panther, this isn’t how innocent people behave, but what exactly am I guilty of? I simply regained access to my account. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, Panther immediately sided with his friend Matt, calling me a liar, even though he couldn’t verify my claims. The account has likely been returned to his friend since it is no longer locked, and I have lost access despite my email being verified.

I look forward to hearing your opinions on this matter. Should an admin be involved in situations like this? Additionally, there are rumors that Panther has even returned houses to players who simply forgot to pay for them, just because he knows them or because they spend a lot of money on premium.

I can’t wait to hear what Panther has to say publicly about this issue, though I doubt he will take up the challenge and engage in a civilized debate on the forum. He’ll probably ignore the matter, as he usually does, unless he knows the person involved—then the situation might change.

I’d like to share the conversation I had with the "victim," though I’m not entirely sure who the real victim is here. Matt, the so-called "victim," mentioned in his very first message that he had already regained access to his account and that I must be really poor to have done what I did. He even placed a payment to a random person, equivalent to what he lost.

You can find the entire conversation at the bottom of this post. What can I conclude from this exchange? For one, it’s evident that my entire conversation with Panther was shared with him. Every question Panther asked me, every answer I gave, was relayed to Matt. Panther wasn’t acting as a judge in this matter but more like a messenger, simply passing along what he heard. The conclusion is clear—knowing the GM is the key to success. Matt also admitted during our conversation that he didn’t know to whom or where he had sent the account's password, which, as I should point out, didn’t have a verified email.

So, this guy sends his account password to people on Discord, eventually, there’s some fallout within the group (as often happens), and someone changes the account password. Then he cries to the GM, who gives him his account back? Shouldn't it be that he should have recovered it himself via email? I think if it were someone Panther didn’t know, that’s exactly what would have happened. He would have just said something like, "Recover it via email; if you don’t have access to it, then too bad."

Do you think this kind of behavior from an administrator is fair? Should an admin even get involved in something like this? Couldn’t someone exploit this, for example, by selling a character and then claiming they were hacked? This is the first server where I’ve encountered something like this, and everyone knows how it is in Tibia—you have to share your account because not everyone has the time to block demona 24/7.

what do you mean by regained access since the account and password was the same?

it seems that you sneaked into the account of someone and changed email, after email changed, you changed the password

your red flags do actually stack up

Honestly, I don't even know what you're trying to accuse me of if I've already explained everything above. Yes, I had the password, yes, I changed it, and yes, I verified my email. I'm assuming you didn't read the whole thing because, as I mentioned, I was the one who created the account, and it got lost in the mix. Sure, lots of people probably had access to it, but it was mine, so I verified my email. The question is, should the server admin be interfering in such matters? Besides, you're probably one of their minions, so you won't understand—judging by the date you joined. :)

You might be right, but keep in mind that dude could sell his account irl for the physical cash.
One cannot really know what happened here - imho the GM shouldnt interfere at all.
I don't really recall any OTS in which GMs who mingle in between players in matter of accounts.
Even on Tibia if someone had stolen account - there was no possibility to regain an access if one didnt verified his account.
Imagine buying an account and then losing THE ACCOUNT AND THE MONEY.
It's pure bullshit.

One of the reasons why Tibiantis is the best server. So much GM interference in other servers, some owners are scared to not listen to certain guilds or players to not lose players.

🤣

yea, everyone knows how it is in Tibia
  • you have to share account
  • you have to get 10 mc
  • you have to macro runes
  • you have to bot levels
because who's got time to actually play

...
well w/e idc really play as u wish and gm can do what he wants it's none of my business

wtf why even gm interfere in that situation? I see huge abuse potential and its up to players if they share or trade accounts and take risk for doing so

but what could u expect from a server on which gm decide if you can kill that one dude u dont like for 4rd time in a row or not

Maybe it's the same owner as Odenia. Atleast they share the same characteristics being biased towards certain players and over protective of their server, resulting in GM interference where there should be none.

bro wtf you trying you hacked the account yourself and stole alot of runes.

Paid premium is the worst thing that can be added to the server, it has too much impact on the gameplay, it is better to make items in the sms store, such as armor, some weapons and the server would also earn for hosting.

You have to understand that such a server with a loot rate x1 is not suitable for playing magic vocations , it is just a paladin / knight server.

In the old days people cheated and created a lot of mischief, and yet most people choose a knight or paladin, because without multi client such characters would not be suitable for normaly playing.

Version 7.4 was too handicapped and unbalanced and you had to use multiclients to play loot x1 and regeneration x1.

See how much you have to contribute to be able to function at all with 1 magical character.

He has to collect money for buy most spells to play like a human, not like a monkey, it will cost 40 k, then you have to spend 20 k to buy a promotion, later to keep the promotion you need to have a premium account and spend 100 k or even 150 k, because people sell dearly for money in game.

Do you think that someone will want to collect it all on loot x1 using a club or a trap?

20+ 40 + 100 or 150 k

I will tell you that I collected such sums on many low rate servers and I only destroyed my brain, I had no pleasure from it, and as a pvp entertainment, such servers are a tragedy , because you bring a lot from yourself, and of server you get almost nothing.

You barely have fun and get banned for a low amount of frags.

If you did a loot x 5-6, then the server may have a greater balance between magic characters, and a knight / paladin.

Because x1 is simply a server for a knight or a paladin, because the mage is too poor and has the most expenses, the hardest to collect money.
hello tampon i miss u since 2015

You're mistaken because I recovered this account, I didn't hack it, and that's a big difference. If you had read carefully, you'd know that I was the one who created it.
Late to the party but,

If you make these big accusations and claims, and the only thing you have to back it up are screenshots personally chosen by you, you must understand that the rest of us will automatically understand that you are only showing one side of the coin here.

If you are truely innocent, then you have nothing to hide. You should have placed all cards on the table and truely exposed yourself, and let us analyze the proof and determine if you're a liar or not.

After going through your entire case, your proof, and your extremely defensive take on the matter, I'd say you're probably the culprit here, or the innocent person who is garbage at making a case because you are so overly defensive.

Tibiantis a good server? Where the owner bans low level character for macro usage but not highlevels that are recurrent players?
