The Update [Final Teaser]

This update has been a very promising one. And I am proud to have put so much work into the server. Although a lot of it players won't even recognized until further recognition. I am 100% done with my part of the update, now all we must do is compile our libraries onto a Unix-based system and run the server through SSH and get it running. The time for this to be complete is yet to be determined.
It is currently being worked on by Akalic. - You may have seen him around the forums, American, funny, future GM, and somewhat sarcastic if you haven't paid much attention to him.

Many things have come during this update, and I'll give you a short list to refresh everybody's memory. Of course, not everything will be mentioned until the day of the update, and it can be read on the front page:

+ New dedicated server (2x faster and new OS to make it 5x faster), pretty much no more lag, ever.
+ New website layout. Everything 100% redesigned. Hope you like the color blue.
+ Houses will be available and purchasable for the first time in 6 or so months!
+ Three new cities have been added! Two for war/non VIP members, and one exclusively for VIP members!
+ New monsters and MUCH more have been added!
+ Old monsters that players did not hunt due to too much risk for the reward have been revamped.
+ Over 4 new quests, with a great reward!
+ All duplicated items will be deleted, and future duplicators will be caught, very easily.
+ King of the Hill and Capture of the Flag will be functional for the first time ever! And players that enter the area by accident will be sent to their temple at the time of the server save!
+ New items! New donator items! New quest items!

And that is a short list of what's to come. Server-sided, we have done a ton of optimizations, and there are a ton of features we want to keep a total surprise before the update, just to leave a bit of hype left. All of these things are working and functional on the test server, and are awaiting deployment. A date is still yet to be determined, due to compiling to Linux difficulties.

I won't post any new screenshots because Cyntara (8.5) doesn't work with DX9 on Windows 7. May have to update to 8.54 Nothing to be said yet!

So red, why ur going to delete all donor items??, if u can delete duped donor items manually?? i dont see the point... Its like u already cleaned the dupe donor items and they appeared again... Its easy to duplicate the donor items again, u dont think so... If u clear all they will appear again like u had done...

And my last question then its true that ur gonna delete all donor items?? I need a reply so i can sell all my donor stuff.

And dude, theres a lot of ppl that u know they bought their items fairly (by tradin etc) u should make a thread asking who really have his items fairly, cause remember some ppl got bugged time ago and u gave them their donor items personally, so its 100% that they didnt dupped a shit... So yea i think u can do something like that cause deleting donor items will take many ppl again =/... Tibia is not for the rich, is for the skillest person that knows how to trade and how to deal with the ppl... If tibia were for rich play it will cost a lot of money, if we wanted to spend 1.2k (rl money) we could buy WoW or some game better than this...

i was watching other thread that make lord alexsand and i saw a guy named twizzler say that red will take all of our donors to take out all duped items well red say that he have some program or idk to take it all why he dont use it and that all why to take all of our donors item red really think about it dont do that... please dude i dont want to quit this game and i was waiting to much for update and finally it will come and u going to do this please red think about it

If you actually donated to the server, you have nothing to worry bout, hell, you should be EXCITED. You get to reset your points and buy a whole new set, no more outdated items (like the Divine bow burning a hole in my backpack). The only people who should complain about this are those who duped or are too lazy to make cash where one can make 20+ topaz a day by just hunting for a few hours.

Just wondering by saying 'Homepage of Cyntara will be revamped'
does that also mean everything working? such as the war system? not complainning or anything xP i know u put a LOT of work into this, and i can't wait.. so EAGER to know!
