Hey guys,

I recently started a 7.6 YurOTS server and I've been ripping my hair out trying to get around the map editor problem. I have found dozens of threads with people not being able to edit their map.

I was just directed to this thread:

This is a WORKING map editor for editing YurOTS original map. I just tested and I can now actively edit my 7.6 map.

So, why am I remaking this post if there is already a thread for it? Well, I've been looking for almost a full week and haven't been able to find the thread AT ALL. The search function simply does not make it appear. So this thread is to help anybody who can't find Simone's map editor. Good news, you found it. It's here.

You can go to the original thread to get it, but I'll just reupload it to this post as well.

The map editor is too old you should use Remeres Map editor instead, there you can edit 7.6 without problems just use the right items.otb., but anyway is good see old map editors on the community.

You cant because the rme will put world-houses into map file and u need to use hex editor to remove it or resave with that editor

And why would I add houses in the remers if you know that in those versions they are in XML? I worked from 2006 to 2022 on a 7.6 XML server, I edited the map with remers but I had to add the houses in the xml file xD I don't understand why you put that excuse greetings
 
The map editor saves it inside otbm file automatically thays why the yurots.exe wont open it jesus is everyone on this forum mentally challenged... i posted solution to editing yurots maps with rme u need to hex edit otbm file and remove bytes that make world-houses.xml and it will load....

But what are you talking about if the remers system does not load that data, I had yurots and using the remers and nothing of what you say happened, I think that the mental problems are not us but you who think you are superior I don't know why xD, lower the revolutions You can't believe that you always know everything or are right, learn that sometimes your word is not the last one and neither is the right one.
 
I would like to understand why my RME doesn't show the maps when I open them... simply on the minimap it appears "drawn" but on the main map everything is black.
