yeah rookgaard needs a better gameplay loop with goals

some more accesible weapons not to break the game on rook, maybe some quests for arrow spells, literally more complex quests would be fun, custom tasks rather than bestiary with gold rewards, maybe boss system , rook raids also not existing, rook raids with elite monsters
350? every time i check theres around 500 players, it feels like pretty much 50/50 as to non pvp and pvp aswell, i see lots of players i play on both factions

Altering stuff on the fly to the point where playing feels like a complete waste of time Ended up throwing my stuff behind NPC Obi because Im done Wont be joining again
Honestly feels like another spoofed OTS with fake numbers and recycled content Rookgaard is straight up unplayable garbage lowest possible chance drops for basic items you literally need just to progress comfortably with bestiary I even brought it up in Discord when I joined but clearly nobody wanted to listen
So yeah Im moving on to a different OTS and spending my money there instead especially since payday just hit tonight They just lost a committed player over terrible design decisions and faked numbers online 500 online and 20 chatting on gamechat
Consider this another Temu Alibaba tier OTS with inflated online counts and zero respect for players time.
this is like crack edition of miracle where it feels like 0.2x exp but its ok cuz u do 2k+ dmg on monsters as paladin at lvl 100.
dumbest balancing i have ever witnessed and worst attempt at revolutionizing tibia since kingdomswap.
it was fun first editions when u could just max mana regen on mage and play without manas pve, it had some sense since u would get fucked in pvp by even one mage so there was some balance but ever since its just been downhill. read his latest post and you'll understand what i mean, he uses ROI like this is some sort of corporation and his only interest is milking his players for as long as possible.
but i guess in todays state of open tibia everything is business and nobody gives a shit if anything is fun to play, just maxxgrind and compete with venezuelans to sell ur chars/points/gp or whatever legendary leather boots +17 u managed to loot.

thanks for the feedback, this is not a rookgaard server and not much time was spent on rookgaard, it has some custom features more then a vanilla server but not enough to give players long lasting goals.
every player can run mc with helper so yes numbers are inflated a bit, that's fine, come back in a year maybe rookgaard is better and more enjoyable

yes it's a business like any other otserver and it's a return of investment of the time you spend developing a server, it's hours and hours of work hours, nobody wants to sit and work for free, its a form of entertainment, any game developer in the world is looking for profits, and this is just how the world works.. I thought this was common sense.
also this server is 6 years old, that's a long time on the OT-scene, tibiascape is still relevant and we enjoy developing it with a burning passion and even if you like it or not it will continue to develop and it's unfortunate you are not happy with the entertainment provided this time but I'm sure you will find other things in life that you want to spend time on instead, thank you for trying the server and come back later and try it again since Scape is always changing
I like this server, this edition is more fun than before
I started playing the day it launched, stopped about a week after but overall i'd say it's worth trying it out
Pros:
I could produce about 30BPs of UHs daily on my maker, which was waaay more than enough so i could farm some cash on the side.
For a casual player it was nice since i didnt really have that much time to play, which also plays into the stamina system
Stamina - is good, but i wasn't quite sure if it regenerated while i was skilling or not (xd) - nonetheless, since i didn't play that much i mostly had full stamina
The talent tree is a cool addition, very much liking it.
Cons:
- The diminishing return on stats has been the major factor of why every further level i got felt more and more like a chore.
Example: I added 10 points into strength: +10% damage. I added 100 points into strength: +20% damage (as i said, example, not the exact numbers), so i kinda found myself just putting some in everything as it didnt matter that much, i remember a full level in damage gave me like 0.1% phys damage before i quit
- What is kinda going for the worse as well is the amount of random procs on every hit (it was fun at first and then it became too much). At least in my case - i wanted to become stronger, and i did, but the fact that i dealt 10 damage in fire, 8 damage in energy, 5 in bleeding, and 9 by idk what was making it kinda weird (To the point it became kinda annoying)
