Hello OTlanders!

Well, I've worked on this project on some time and now I can show it for you, let's talk about it:

Tibia is one of the most successful massively multiplayer online role-playing games.
In an MMORPG people from all over the world meet on a virtual playground to explore areas, solve tricky riddles and undertake heroic exploits.
Acting as knights, paladins, sorcerers or druids, players are faced with the challenge of developing the skills of their selected characters, exploring a large variety of areas and dangerous dungeons and interacting with other players on a social and diplomatic level.
Besides the sophisticated chat tools it is especially the unique freedom players enjoy in Tibia World RPG, that create an enormously immersive gaming experience.

Tibia World RPG is based in a game create by CipSoft, I decided to go back to that Tibia version to remember the good old golden Tibia days.

But wait, Tibia World RPG is not like all other servers that you have played or will play!
Over the years, CipSoft with your updates, was getting worse, but it is clear that many of these updates were excellent, as the map updates (several new details embellishing the map, more places to hunt, more quests), new spells, new monsters and new mysteries.

That's why I decided to do, bring the best Tibia updates to my server!

In short, you will enjoy almost all of the newer versions with the real old school gameplay!
At this time, you showed your true skills, without the use of hotkeys (for items), only your hand, mouse and keyboard.

looks good but at the same time it just feels like a 8.6 rl map with downgraded features and graphics, i mean theres even exevo mas san? like wtf how is that oldschool XD
i really dont think places like yalahar, liberty bay etc belongs to oldschool server since the spawns there are ridicilous to those who existed in 7.x era
rather see some normal 7.4 map with new places that arent super op like yala etc

I understood you, but the fact is: Without any new content, though, many players would probably get bored sooner or later.

This was posted by CM Mirade (CipSoft Member) and it's true, and the picture below, a player called Lord Slash in Tibianic - RealOTS Server said the same thing, check it out:

The main reason of my server is: Bigger map and details, new monster and spells, and the REAL CHALLENGE !!!

this would be fun if you kept spells/formulas/mana costs the same and rebalance the loot of the new monsters, otherwise this is just a 8.6 server with changed sprites.

Same thing everyone else is saying, but.. yalahar, liberty bay, new spells.. nope. Keep the updated new pieces of your map, but only the custom ones you make yourself.

Looks really sick! All the places of "today" but oldschool gameplay/spells and mechanics would be so awesome. Aldoh, I don't like 7.7.
7.4 -> 7.6 is the best. Prefeer 7.4.

I don't understand the hype for 8.6 realmap botservers, but hey, there's a crowd for everything.

The old spells/mana/costs are kept, with old formulas (based in 7.6-7.7)

The only place that I think it's OP is Yalahar (didn't check all Farmine & Zao), but Liberty Bay (with Shattered Isles), Svargrond (extension of Folda, Vega & Senja) sounds like oldschool

No, I don't have an ETA yet, I'm still working on it, but it's fully playable, need to finish some houses, add some missing item names and other things.
Maybe I'll open a Test Server, but don't know when

After the feedback here, they will be removed, the only thing I'll keep, it will be the potions (maybe not)

The idea seems nice, just dislike the new spells a bit.
I was doing something similar a while ago but I dropped that proyect... May I ask why "old-school people" stick with older clients? Is not like you can't recreate a 7.x server in newer clients

It's about the feeling.
I love 8.6, but I hate the bots... I love 1.x but it's sadely only for 10.x versions.

It's hard to say if you haven't been around for long, but it dosen't feel the same with the newer clients for me.
