Mapper A different kind of server - may need more then just a mapper

Around this time last year I posted a thread on another OT site to see if anyone was interested in this kind of server but didnt get much of a response so I left the idea to die but have since decided to work on it myself but I need atleast the help of a mapper or 2.

What I have so far is a new vocation system. Or more like "no vocation" system. Everyone just starts as a human like rookguard on normal tibia. You never gain an actual vocation as skills go up differently. Instead of afk training on a training monk for weapon and shield skills or burning through mana potions for magic level you instead "buy" your skills with gold. Putting all your money into one or two skills will make you extremely powerful in your chosen path (offensive or defensive melee or expert in a school of magic) but if you wish you may be a "jack of all trades" and essentially be able to do everything although not as powerfully as a specialist would be able to.

The no-vocation system is all but done I am fine tuning it and I am editting items to suit the new system but I need a mapper to help me out since I am useless when it comes to maps. Successful applicant(s) will obviously get a GM position and we will also offer premium services (nothing to overpowering just access to better hunting grounds things like that) and you will also get a percentage of the profits if we make any.

If I dont find a mapper I will probably use the RL map or else a combination of the maps I have collected over the years to get the server going to see how much interest it generates but if you are interested send me a PM and include either a picture of your mapping or a link to your post of your mapping. Im Australian so I think PMs are the only way we will be able to communicate but I think it should be fine.

You dont think I can make it happen or you dont think people will want to play it? Cause the system to make it happen is all but made, I just need a map to make quests on and NPCs. If you think people wont wanna play it then I wouldnt have a clue but I guess time will tell. I understand monsters will have to be adjusted a little to fit the system but thats no problem. I just dont get why people in OT's have stacks and stacks of crystal coins and nothing to spend them on. That and nobody wants to train for skill but whats the point in afk/botting in training monks. This system gives a point to hunting and I plan on making goup based hunting more appealing. Summons for instance wont take any experience so you have the option to be a summoner/necromancer and not loose out on experience, plus more monsters will be summonable. Party sharing exp will give alot more of a bonus and some monsters will be impossible to kill without a mix of "types" of players.

Im not looking for 200+ players to make money out of Im making a server I would enjoy and hopefully others will aswell.

far, i relly like ur idea, its interesting and I would most certainly play this kind of ot

anyway, about the mappers, there are quite a few mappers, that dont map for money, u just gotta look hard
