About dedicated server.

Well, my server is almost finished and im going to buy a dedicated server from serverloft.com.

Since i never done this before i need some feedback and tips from people that have done it.

What should i think of the most?
What is important?
Yee you know what i mean, im pretty insecure about this and need all help i can get..

Well, i think it's better to use this as hosting developers:

@Up2 you have to make a copy of you'r passport or ID to get the dedicated from Hetzn~ lol..


When you'r going to buy a dedicated server look at this way:

Map Size:
Scripts:
Players:


Map over 60mb, take 3GB ram for map+other things, if map is over 90mb then take 4GB Ram.

Processor: The better one the faster cleans, server saves ETc..


Net: 50-100mb. Should do just amazing at 50 but if they offer 100 then grab it.

And ofcourse OS, if you know you'r way around Linux then choose so, * Debian or Ubuntu * If not They might have Windows server offers but sometimes you'll have to pay extra for win.
