I used to have a ~90mb global map that has shown ~ 30000x 30000 as size in console.
After some time I had to change the map, I got a ~110mb global and noticed that it required much more RAM, and loaded in 60 secs (5x more time),then noticed that the console shows it as 50000x50000.
Of course a lot of empty tiles, but even being empty I think a much bigger map requires more memory isn't it? The second map has 50000x50000 because some imported event maps have been placed without any x or y offset, then they got positions like 50,50,7 :/

Is there a way to decrease it? I imagine like importing the event maps again, closer to 30000, 30000, 7 and then "cutting" the map, but dunno if it's possible:D

Thanks

If you are using Remere's Map Editor, open the editor, go to Map (top bar) Propierties and there you can set the size.
