A:Windows Firewall and a router will do

From the router you probaly got an IP filter.
With windows firewall you can disable echo requests. (theese 2 things are used to prevent dos/ddos.)

you can get AVG 8.2.3 with keygen, full licenced version.

I've got a firewall in my router and it seem to do the job, so no wasted resources on my pc

If the machine will run only the otserv and will not acept uploads, you don't need an antivirus.

I use an ipfw version for windows as firewall, it works like the iptables on linux.

I use Kaspersky Anti virus (Not Security) because Anti virus is better it has firewall, anti virus and everything you will EVER need... its the best security system. And NOD32 is quite good but i prefer kaspersky AND nothing else.

Zone Alarm! i use this and my comp are safety.

use avast 4.8 more spybot 1.6 that will make your pc invensible!
run spybot every day and u wont have problems!
it delets all shits! votes mean nothing!
most of you dont understand if its a good or bad anti virus! i use both and my pc doesnt gets virus or spywares or pop ups spybot delets them!

And AVG SUCKS FOR REAL!

Lots of good free Anti-Virus out there.

And I would say ZoneAlarm is a good free firewall.
