Thronx is an unique RL map project, mainly developed by me and @Yamaken.

Basic information about the server:
The world of Thronx is and will be kept as authentic as possible, to sustain the game feeling as 'original' as possible.
On top of this, we have our own little tweaks to make the game-play even more enjoyable.

The very basics:
Features:
We have spent long time thinking about the features that we're going to have on the server,
several features that we have are truly unique, that no other server currently has.
Some features are improved adaptions from somewhere else, and some are as they're in real Tibia.
Here's a few, probably the most interesting ones, as a name.

  • Flash Client
  • Hotkey Equip
  • Cast System
  • Loot Channel
  • Reward Chest - Container
There's so much more to add, e.g multiple unique features to make the PvP gameplay more enjoyable.
Questing
Questing is a big part of this game and we understand that.
However, certain quests do not fit our server, therefore we have adapted several quests to fit the server better,
you won't be required to do every single quest to have access to X area.
Ex. we don't have The New Frontier quest on the server, because everybody has instant access to muggy plains.
Here's few nameable quests that we have:
  • Lion's Rock quest
  • War Against the Hive
  • Roshamuul Quests
  • The Hidden City of Beregar
  • And, of course all the 'usual ones', such as : Inquisition and Pits of Inferno quest.
Basically you can expect us to have all popular quests on the server,
and if we don't have the quest you would like us to have, we will add it asap.
PvP
We want to provide the best possible PvP experience for everyone.
Ex. we have so called, 'semi-fight reduction', which means, that you will lose more experience upon dying in PvP, than you usually would,
though it's not 'retro PvP'.
We still have twist of fate blessing on the server.
This gives PvP deaths more seriousness feeling to them, while keeping everything well balanced.
Experience rates
We have so called 'smooth experience rates', which means, that we don't have the usual 'staged experience rates',
instead your rates will begin from 60x at level 1, and will decrease until the level of 300 to 2x.
However, it's not a straight decreasing line.

What does 'beta' mean?
It means, that we're still at testing phase, despite we have been testing and fixing the server for over 4 months,
it would be quite unlikely that there aren't any bugs on the server.
The initial purpose of this beta is to test the server and find bugs - and maybe even more importantly,
to provide us constructive feedback about our current features, or possibly something that you would like to see on the server.
After the beta is over, all characters will be wiped.
We have initial plans for nearly everything at this moment,
but it's possible that many things will change during our beta, based on the feedback we will get.

You're correct :)

Here are most of the fixes we have done lately:
  • Added 'The Welter' (AI boss)
  • A few monsters drop skull instead of skull of ratha's now
  • Fixed multiple minor map bugs
  • Improved the following monsters:
    • Waspoid
    • Frost Dragon
    • Silencer
    • Guzzlemaw
    • Frazzlemaw
  • Lancer beetle raid happens at correct place
  • It is possible to wear gearwheel chain
  • Fixed a few buggy tiles at Roshamuul
  • Improved monsters behaviour while following target
  • Added The Mage's Tower - world change
  • Revised spawns at the following places:
    • Quirefang (deeplings)
    • Quirefang (hive)
    • Roshamuul guzzlevalley and prison
  • Enabled ctrl + z reporting and disabled !report command
We appreciate everybody who has took the time and reported about the bugs.

To keep you guys updated, we will try to release these update logs a bit more frequently from now on.

Our initial plan is to add all the content we're going to add, and fix all the problems that have and will be reported during this month, which means that the beta will likely end at the end of July.
The biggest things that we still have to do / solve currently are:
  • Improve monsters behaviour.
    • monsters tend to randomly ran around and flee sometimes, which is a major issue.
  • Add the deeplings quest and world change
  • Add Glooth Bandits and other new areas to Oramond
That doesn't seem like much, but then there are a lot of minor things that need to get fixed / added.
Most of them won't require much time from us, but some might and we have to be prepared for that.
And now the usual update log:
  • Fixed fibula entrance
  • Fixed mission 2 with the What a Foolish quest
  • Further spawn fixes at Deeplings
  • You can only take one reward at the svargrond arena.
  • Fixed house commands
  • Skeleton at Chyllfroest gives correct item now (tinder box)
  • Fixed "strange" exhaustion with potions that you would get sometimes.
  • Added Roshamuul prison bosses
  • Fixed guild logo uploading
    • It is now possible to upload gif, jpg and png images
  • Reworked houses page completely.
  • Update highscores page
  • Changed the layout of account management page
  • Fixed "music sheet piano", which teleports you to Cultis Cave at Vandura
  • Fixed map bugs at:
    • Edron, near raging mage
    • Forbidden isle's hydra cave
  • And more minor bug fixes.

TL;DR
The beta will likely last to the end of this month, least that's our current plan.
There still are some things to do, many minor and few major, which hopefully don't require more time than planned.

I'm looking forward for the official release, looks like a really awesome server, I just hope it doesn't end the same way that theoxserver did.

  • Fixed few minor map bugs at Farmine killer caimans & wailing widows
  • Added depots to most guild houses (not all yet)
  • Changed walkable lava looktype
  • Minor map fixes at Gray Island
  • Added Yalahar Grim Reaper extension
  • Updated Annihilator room to the newer look
  • You can now leave Draconia using dragonfetish
  • Added Draconia quest
  • Added the Liquid Black quest and deeplings world change
  • Nearly all monsters tend to talk a bit more often now
  • Updated Magma Elementals
  • Multiple 10.7~ item attribute fixes
  • Corrected the messages which your would get upon opening a lottery ticket
  • Fixed quest doors at Oramond
  • It is now possible to ‘use’ lumps of dirt
  • And many other minor fixes
Once again, thanks to everyone who has still kept on playing and testing our beta server :) We will tell about our plans for the release and such fairly soon.

I really want look server with all tibia quest. Can you make all quest, but zones be unlocked for players who won't do quests.

For sure it could and would confuse some people, but we actually had thought about similar thing earlier, yet ultimately decided to make things simple / clear as possible, by not mixing these things together.

Looked at the server from time to time but it seems to be missing players quite often.
The BETA is still on and the server is begin updated quite often.

There hasn't been many players online lately, mostly because the beta has been running for almost a month now, and people don't want to spend too much time on the server, while knowing that their accomplishments will be deleted once the BETA is over.
Once again, I will have to thank everyone who has spent time on the beta server, specially those who have given us feedback, crucial or not, - still important to us.

Well, now it's about a time to start the "high-level beta", which means that:
Upon logging to the server, you will automatically gain level 250, also depending on your vocation you will gain skills accordingly.
Lastly, but not least, runes are infinite and you will get some money into your backpack if you don't have plenty of it already (more than 1kk).

What is the purpose of this "high-level beta"?
To answer shortly: Not enough difficult quests / hunting grounds have been tested yet.
During the past month, nobody could be arsed to take enough levels to be able to properly test "high level content".
Therefore (as planned), now it will be easier for everybody to test the "high-level" content with ease.
What should be tested? basically all 100+ level quests, hunting grounds and maybe even more importantly PvP testing and such.
This BETA partly takes away the seriousness feeling to the game that there is with lower rates, but really that's not what we are after right now.

Tip: To report any bugs, use ctrl+z or write a post to our forums.
