well im trying to push my members to exp as much as possible. but i suppose there just to old to play a highrate ot so much. i think we have 2-3 lvl 35-40s now and rest still lvl 20-30. (in total of 6 we are)

There has been an internal error and unforunatently it's not possible to save, I have to kill the server and it will be a rollback of around 20 minutes..
 
Fribben, are there plans to update :

- the guildsystem? (custom ranks, etc)
- Statistics system (Vocation-specific)
- Forum (possibly private forum for guilds)
- Website refresh , unused buttons, etc

ps: latest news :

"you mean now check your ~" What does that mean? :p

You don't have to change it all/put it on top priority, but i (and part of the community) would like to know "if" & "when" these updates might come

Some douchebags are walking around the server killing people with ddos. Just look at Kathy. He can't even play anymore. From 64-59 by low lvls. As soon as he log in they come. And they do as they wish.

They done it to me aswell and one thing that is interesting is that your whole network doesn't start to lagg/shut down as normal ddos does, not even a little. The only thing affected is your tibia client and it's not on all computers within the network either. Since my brother play aswell now and he ain't affected when I am. So I thought, perhaps they're attacking my Mac-adress? So I changed it. No use. Perhaps they're attacking the 7171 port linked to tibia? But wouldn't my brother on the same network be attacked too then?

Anyway, these people will continue as long as all the characters connected to their low levels chars are deleted so that they (hopefully) quit the server. Because else they'll find other high levels to remove from the server.

its called pinging, in easy words:

they ddos your tibia client specifically, you can find out who's doing it if you keep network manager open, and simply block out the ip of the person doing it to you,
Be carefull in blocking out ip's though, if u choose wrong numbers, other people/servers might not be able to communicate with you anymore

its actually alot more accurate to call it DoS/DDoS since "pinging" is only one way of performing Denial of Service (DoS) and is very rarely used since its not an effective way of DoS comparing to other DoS methods such as udp/syn flooding. DoS from a single attacker is also rare today since you might actually get caught and its not effective unless you got a strong net.

@Ingens The one who's pinging is probably DDoS'ing you, so blocking an ip probably wont help since there are multiple attackers in this case. You should request to change your ip address by calling your hosting company (if you have static ip address) and make sure they won't get your new ip (they can get your IP from skype, ventrilo, msn, etc)

tbh, i doubt the kids that do that to others are using multiple hosts to accomplish ~
Might be underestimating them, but i highly doubt that
