Hello everyone
We have opened this thread to show you the project we have been working on for the past few years, Hesperia, and follow its development as we are in the last phase before open alpha version.
It's a 10.98 TFS war server inspired by Warots with ready-to-play accounts and characters, starting at level 110 with decent skills, set, weapons and infinite supplies.
The map is based on RL locations, adapted to fit in the war environment, with ready-to-play quests and improved rewards.
Avaliable features
What we have implemented so far is the following:
The map
Hesperia has a quite small map as it is still in development. Currently, there are three cities, but we plan to include more places, all of them interconntected. We already working on improving the existing places and adding new content.
The avaliable places in the alpha version are the following:
Yalahar: Main city of Hesperia, with its own DP to store obtained equipment and items. This city has narrow alleys and its enclosed by a protective wall which makes the place the most suitable for skirmishes and team fights. Yalahar is connected directly to the rest of cities and places.
Darashia: Located at the west of Yalahar, this city has wide, open spaces between its buildings, granting more chances of survival to players who are being attacked by a large group of enemies. To access to Darashia, you must pass through a steep mountain and its passageways.
Kazordoon: This underground city is accesed through the Colossus, located at the north of Yalahar. This city, with its labyrinthine mines and open city spaces, offers a balanced terrain for both, individual and team fights. Who knows which secrets hide its deep mines?
Roadmap
After finishing the open alpha testing, our plans for the beta version are the following:
For 1.0 version we plan to implement, at least, the following features:
Internal testing
In order to test the map design and vocation balance we have implemented our own bots to simulate players interaction and behaviour. We took Thais War with Pvp bots code and adapted it to work in our own server (it has required a really hard work to make them fully work). We have used those bots to record the Hesperia alpha teaser attached at the top of this thread and we are currently deciding whether we should keep them for the alpha testing or not.
There is a gifs showing the bots in action:
We plan to open the server for alpha testing the next week, we hope you find this project interesting and enjoyable.
Feel free to ask any question and make suggestions, we will take them into account.

What we have implemented so far is the following:
- Three main cities: Yalahar, Kazordoon and Darashia.
- Magic wall and Wild growth timers (can be enabled/disabled).
- Improved combat system to make PVP more comfortable.
- Removal of equipment and weapon level requirement, so everyone who manages to obtain them can make use of them, as experience is gained only by killing other players.
- PVP and supply usage stats that can be checked ingame.
- Potions regeneration is shown ingame.
- Kill streak system identified by skulls (5 kills = white skull, 10 kills = yellow skull, 15 kills = orange skull, 20 kills = red skull, 30 kills = black skull).
