I'm amazed how a random admin pops up just to make a joke and nudge another fellow members who are trying to pursue the same objective in another direction. Otland honestly should have closed years ago, what your staff does here is a disservice for the community.

This is very unfortunate that you are closing. Even though all the imperfections in TFS I still like the engine and it's quite good. Still, with otland gone, I think it's time for a revolution. A real one. Revolutionizing the market, with maybe private maybe public repo of the NEW ERA ENGINE. I jokingly said "Tofame Forgotten Server" that would be TFS, but w/e, we can think of another great naming. The engine would connect 1.4 with all the new nice features from 1.5 and more. We would have perfect AI, 0 lags, perfect optimization and everything with top-notch security. This is doable. The only thing that is missing is the will to do that. But with changes - otland deletion, there is also a new spark of fire. Who is gonna turn that into a fire...? I don't know.

No bro, they need to move on. They literally made 2 April fool's joke one mentioning canary and another that doesn't. The second one was a complete flop, not a single comment, 4 reactions. Even for a simple joke they need us to get any attention, wake up.

If Canary goes away, they won't even have audience for a single joke like this. They will end up forgotten, like the name of their supposedly good engine. 🤭
 
That's actually interesting thing - why was it named the FORGOTTEN server in the first place?
