Kangarews Mapping Thread

He's just giving you pointers, not telling you how to map. When things are done correctly or in a way that works good it will make the mapping look much nicer.
 
Why don't you accept constructive criticism? We are trying to help you and give you tips on becoming better, but you don't even accept the tips and you are like: "Well, this is my style and I do it this way!", and that way you'll never become a better mapper.
 
My mapping is good enough. I accepted the constructive ciritism, untill it got rather annoying. Plus, I can't put up screenshots anymore. So I'm done. I'd prefer to roam other peoples mapping threads.

OT: better then before, but ur shape of the caves is horrible and the borders on the first pic is really buggy/fugly :p

It was not constructive at all. I don't see you posting it on anyone elses threads? What if I came on your thread and said "Your map looks horrible, the borders are sh$$$y"
 
Mate. It was. Okay it sounded a little bit harsh but thats what I tought. What I mean with the shape is horrible - take a good look on it, its really squary in the caves, and take a real good look on the first picture, there is ALOT of border bugs :S
 
Waterfalls look a little strange sprouting out of small hills like u posted near the beginning. Streams and rivers, to me, usually look a lot better if either A they come out of caves or B they are longer and have more space to gather water before dumping into a body of water. Sorry if I'm just one of many posting something like that didn't have the time to read everything.

Showing a lot of improvement. Keep it up m8.
Above average for a beginner.
