[League of Legends] General Discussion

Finally they change Annie up a little bit.

And I'm one happy camper when it comes to hextech revolver becoming unique.

In all honesty this update was a huge boost, but no new champion, I don't mind :D. Rather get Mastery pages/Name changes implemented than another Champ.

Madreds for example: Will hit equal 4% of maximum health or something like that I dont remember and it says
Madreds UNIQUE: and the description (IT means that this item will provide his effect just once, if you buy another madred you wont have the double effect (would be 8% of maximum health - description talking)
If it not says UNIQUE you could stack 5 madreds and you could hit them for 20% of maximum health in hit for example.
:s

Did you hear about the new "game mode" not made by RIOT but very fun to play :)

Protect The Queen

Overview

At Draft Mode champion selection, each team selects one female champion to be designated as their “Queen.” Throughout the course of the game, both teams will attempt to kill the other team’s Queen. The first team to have their Queen die 7 times loses and must surrender.

[To find others who are also playing Protect The Queen, visit the "Protect The Queen" chat!]

Playing Field

The playing field is limited is half of the jungle area of Summoner’s Rift. The team that picks second in Champion selection decides whether the game will use Baron’s side of the jungle, or Dragon’s. Once the playing field has been decided, all fighting must occur within the playing field. If at any time the Queen retreats outside of the playing field, she must immediately suicide to the enemy team and it shall be counted as a point. Please see the picture for an outline of the playing field.

General Rules

1. Players are to avoid going within exp range of enemy minions at all times. If minions threaten to take down any Tower, players may use the Fortify Spell, if they have it. Otherwise they must let the Tower fall.

2. The Teleport summoner spell is not allowed.

3. The Blue Golem and Red Lizard as well as their helpers in the designated playing field may be killed by either team, but all other neutral monsters are to remain unharmed.

4. Once a Queen is slain, both teams may retreat out of the playing field. Players may chase enemy players as long as they remain in the playing field, but may not chase them once they have exited.

5. Once a Queen is slain, players not already in the enemy jungle may not enter the enemy jungle until both teams have 5 players in their respective jungles.

6. Once a Queen is slain and all combat has stopped, both teams are to return to their respective jungles.

7. Queens start the next round by signalling that their team is in their jungle. When both Queens have given their "Go", the round starts.

Queen-specific Rules

1. Upon death, the Queen is to return to the playing immediately and call out to the enemy team when she is back in play.

2. The Queen may not buy any items at any time during the match. However, she may purchase Oracle Elixers (She may not purchase any other types of elixers).

3. The Queen must run the Clairvoyance and Rally summoning spells.

Underling-specific Rules

1. Underlings may only return to the fountain to heal or shop after dying.

2. Underlings may purchase any items except for: Mejai's Soulstealer, Leviathan, and Sword of the Occult.

3. Underlings may not take the Clairvoyance or the Rally summoning spells.

4. As long as neither Queen has died, underlings may reenter the playing field immediately after respawning. If either Queen has died, they should wait until the reset.

5. If an Underling is executed (slain by a minion, turret, or neutral) they must remain at the fountain until at least 1 Queen is slain.

Orianna, The Clockwork girl

Lore:

There once was a Piltovian man named Corin Reveck who had a daughter named Orianna, whom he loved more than anything else in the world. Though Orianna had incredible talent for dancing, she was deeply fascinated by the champions of the League of Legends. This fascination compelled her to begin training to become such a champion. It is unfortunate that her sheltered, wide-eyed naivete led her to take unnecessary and dangerous chances which ultimately led to her tragic demise. Orianna's death shattered Corin, driving him into deep depression and an obsession with techmaturgy. He could not stand the void his daughter's death left in his life, so he decided to build a replacement – one that would complete Orianna's dream of joining the League. What was created is the clockwork killing machine that Corin named after his daughter. Knowing that she was destined to be a champion and seeing the way the times were changing, he created The Ball as her pet and protector. This nearly symbiotic creation uses a different type of techmaturgy, relying more heavily on electricity than clockwork.

Orianna and The Ball now fight as Champions in the League of Legends, using the Clockwork Girl's sometimes misguided morality as a compass. She tries in earnest to fit in with those around her. However, no matter how hard she tries, Orianna can never be human and there is always something unnerving and alien about her. Though she attempts social interaction with other champions in the League of Legends, there are few who can get past her exotic nature. To many, it's as if there's nothing inside, that Orianna is just a soulless clockwork shell – a dangerous and deadly one at that. However, all along she remains the perfect daughter in her father's eyes.

Abilities:

Passive – Clockwork Windup: Orianna’s autoattack deal additional magic damage every hit, subsequent attacks on the same target within a few seconds will add more damage per hit. This bonus stacks up to three times.

Command - Attack: Orianna commands her ball to fly towards target location, dealing damage to targets hit but doing reduced damage for each additional target hit. Her ball remains behind at that location afterwards.

Command – Dissonance: Orianna commands her ball to emit a magnetic pulse, dealing damage to units around it. Afterwards, the ball leaves a field behind for a few seconds that speeds up allies and slows enemies.

Command – Protect

(Passive): The allied champion the ball is attached to gains bonus Armor and Magic Resistance.
(Active): Orianna commands her ball to fly to and attach onto an allied champion, dealing damage to enemies it passes through and shielding the allied champion when it arrives.
Command – Shockwave: Orianna commands her ball to emit a shockwave after a short delay, flinging affected enemies in the vicinity into the air a set distance towards, and possibly over, her ball.
