- Is 63 GB Enough to run an ot
- If so, how many players should be max?
- How much memory is recommended?
- How do you know you have a good internet speed..
I went to speedtest.net and got this
Download kb/s = 1296
Upload = 456 kb/s
Ping = 123ms
If the speedtest is not good then plz tell me what you recommend..
- Whats better for the ot connection of players. Wi Fi or Wired
Im currently using wi fi
*btw what improves ur internet speed.. your provider or your computer.. by computer i mean like.. need to go softwares and instlal it on...

Thanks if you are able to answer these questions i'd Appreciate it. XD

-Harddrive is not an very important stuff i you would like to host..
just make sure that u have plenty of room to your ots map and so on.

-It depends on how big the map is

-I would say as much ram as possible, but around 2Gb is enough

-You dont got a great internet speed so. not much players here i think. but it all depends how big ur map are.

-Wired is best for internet speed.
Both.
if u got an good internet provider adn a crappy somp that sucks..

if u want a faster internet speed. contact ur internet provider in some way.

and make sure u got an computer that is not that old.

Danxo, his ping was 123. If he tries to do the test in other server he'll get probably more.

u have right but also wrong.. he would get good ping if the server was close to him.. and then al who lives nearby would be happy with no lag.

but if some ohers dont live there they maybe would lag.

so the ping does not concern im that big way.

But more upload speed would not harm. XD

uhhhh how do i get the upload speed higher... XD i got a macbook pro but i also bought windows vista premium... that is how i am able to play tibia i use the bootcamp program if you know what that is..

I don't recommend hosting server on local computer. If you want to create server and put it online then you have to buy dedicated server (or vps). Also you should install Linux instead of crappy Windows.
