The orbs seem to be very useful as a ball. You could also go pokémon ranger style, where some kind of rope is used to capture something, since we're talking about wild monsters here, that might be interesting as well?

Could use these kind of "ropes" or necklaces to show they're yours.

Serial number? Does it identifie monsters as unique?
Only gm can see the serial number, due to the orb is stackable. When it have a unique serial number, it's not possible to stack it anymore. But i will remove the system. Since i've made some source changes, to make sure the orbs not stacking and also saving me some memory usage.

Also added some items, which i think fit:
On the armor slot we got the: order whip which you using to order your monster to execute an action.
On the left hand we got a magnifying glass, which represent the monster dex to view monster information.
Then on the ammo slot we got toolbox, there i will be add duel item and etc...
On the feet slot we got the orb to be able to call your monster.

Looking very interesting, will there be a way to give some kind of equipment to your monster? Or how will we be able to train a monster other than leveling it up? Have you put any thoughts yet in what monsters you will use? Like only monsterlike creatures or also more human-looking monsters? Maybe add a "shiny"-system, allowing to catch certain monsters with a rare colour.
 
As it now only monster level and master level is the strength factor.
Only mosters look alike will be used.
Which monster have rare colors? XD
 
@Weelet the only monster i know that have dif colors is that dark hydra a bog raider and a rotworm could be more im not sure so i guess that makes only a hand full for shiny monsters ;p

Those are not just recolored sprites. they would fit as evolutions
