new to private servers

hello im new to private servers im attempting to figure out how i can play a tibia private server any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Its simple really, first you find out the IP and port used by the server you want to play, then you download the appropriate tibia client version (8.22, 7.6, 8.31, etc).

After you have installed the tibia client, you download an ip changer (which wil make your client connect to the private server, instead of the official one), a good example is talaturens ipchanger:

Once you have downloaded it, run the tibia client, and the ip changer.
Fill in the IP and port of the server you wish to connect to, and click "change IP" or "change server" or whatever big button is in the middle.

And poof, you can now connect to the private server.

kk well I downloaded a Ip changer but it keeps saying that its in error or something like that mabey im downloading the wrong program

If its an error regarding a missing files, its explained in the topic, you simply download the DLL pack from there and place it in the same folder as the ipchanger, and it will work.

If the problem is still there, your firewall maybe is blocking it.
