OTClient New User with OPClient error (unable to load dat/spr file)

Hello,

New user here - trying to load up the client for the first time. I have set up 'The Forgotten Server' and compiled a new OPClient.

Upon loading the client, making a new local server and loging in with details created on localhost website Im met with the following error.

Help!


P.S: I tried researching das/spr files and im lost.

Just create a new folder called things inside data folder, in case it doesn't exist, and then inside that folder you create another one with the name of the version you want, for example 1098 and inside there you are going to add the spr/dat files

Thanks Sarah, do I just unzip the files and pop then I'm as is, or do I need to do something to the zip / unzipped files before putting them into the things/version folder?

i do have files set in things folder things/1098 and still client cannot open them

You need always create folder in your_otc/data/things/version
example: 860, 850, 854, 1098, 1100
your_otc/data/things/1098
and put there files Tibia.dat and Tibia.spr.
To folder 860 files from Tibia 8.60, to folder 1098 from 10.98.
If you edit spr in object editor then put there this files.
Must be signature dat/spr from version. All versions have signature.

Minimap you can add to your_otc/data then your minimap will be force loaded.
Your config from OTC has been saved in windows+R -> %appdata% -> OTClientV8 -> folder name from your_otc/init.lua
You have there all bot configs too, but from your_otc/modules/game_bot/.../.../ will be force loaded.


Ahh sorry you use mehah or edubart not v8.
