Pokemon Client Sprite Problem

Hello, I am trying to get the monsters(pokemon) from one pokemon client to another. I exported the monsters from one and tried to import it to the other, but a load of pop-up boxes with errors came up because some of the sprites were 64x64. So how do I get them to import properly? I hear that I have to split the 64x64 monster sprites into 4 32x32 and then somehow declare to the dat editor that they go together. Any help please? Will Rep! Thanks in advance
