Welcome to the discussion thread for Faloria 7.4.

Some of you may remember the project from back in 2012-2014, when it was last hosted. Now we've all gotten older and probably not much wiser, but just as dedicated to deliver a proper and fun 7.4 Tibia experience.

The development has been ongoing for almost a year now with noone to share our thoughts and ideas. But as we now approach a beta-phase I would like to invite you all to participate in the discussion of this new server.

Lets get into it with some details!

Launched on 28/12-21. Based on ZnoteAAC but tuned by us to fit this project.

Client
Our game-client will be based on otclientv8 with some heavy improvements and QoL additions. Our goal is to give you the classic Tibia-feeling, but with a modern touch. More information about the client will be released as we approach the beta-launch.

Beta
The first step towards the beta-phase has just begun, and we are optimistic on delivering an open-beta in early January 2022.




Custom systems
On Faloria we introduced some new custom systems to keep things interesting. A full list of features can be seen here: https://www.faloria.online/faloriasystems.php

Like most servers nowadays, we do have a task system. However, we feel that most task systems introduced lock a player into hunting the same monster into oblivion. Our attempt at solving this is introducing a client-driven task system which is based on three slots. This would give you the oppertunity to hunt some strong creatures while your friends are online, and then perhaps go slay some Ghouls while solo.​
Of course everything is searchable, and completed tasks are hidden by default.​

Wiki
Ever wondered where people got their items? How your house-neighbour got that cool sword? We introduced a wiki within the client to help you a) identify new monster b) identify loot from certain creatures c) encourage exploring with locations.
Currently the wiki module features monsters, loot and locations, health, experience and mana required to summon.

Random mini-bosses
When hunting or exploring around the world of Faloria you may encounter mini-bosses.
The bosses vary depending on where you currently are and has its strength and loot adjusted to the area.
These bosses often carry backpacks of runes and equipment which has a chance to drop.

Additional systems
Additionally to the systems above we also have cast system, cam system and war system.

Map, quests and mysteries
All around the world of Faloria, wheter you are in Rookgaard or on mainland, you may encounter new and/or revamp old areas. We want to encourage exploring, even if the original map itself is over 15 years old. To achieve this, we have created, updated and revamped areas that we all recognize to breath new life into them and to reignite the feeling of exploring something new.

As the map and areas get new life, so does the mysteries. In addition to new quests which are hidden across the lands, there are also mysetieres to be solved, with unique rewards.

Server information
Nothing is set in stone yet here, but we currently lean towards a mid-rated server that can last for a long time. All suggestions are welcome here. Current rates can be seen here: Faloria (https://www.faloria.online/serverinfo.php)

Vision
We want you to have fun and engage with the game when playing on Faloria. It is the players that make the game, and all we as developers can do is make sure you have the means to have fun. We want to deliver a genuine oldschool feeling while keeping things interesting.
This also means that we always keep an ear open towards the community. Every constructive piece of opinion is important for us and help us improve our game.

I am sorry if it is unclear, but no rates are finalized yet. The numbers given in the server information are the current configuration of the beta server.
I am also having a hard time figuring out where you got the "only to take money from people" from. Our last server was online for over 2 years, and we have never sold anything but Golden Account, always giving people free Premium.

If you have some actual feedback it would be welcome.

Rookgaard
Just as we have improved and updated the mainland map, Rookgaard has had its fair share of love as well. There are new mystieries to explore and new quests to dig out. Do we have any love for Rookgaard here?
