I've tried Shadowsong's idea, which is making wildgrowth on a staff.

I like it, except it's kinda flat on the left side + that kind of bended leaf / circle on the very top of it triggers my OCD

You should work on top part of lineart in shield. Armor - lovely design, but shading not . Blade is pretty nice, but part between it and handle need more work though (mostly shading). Keep doing different things - Maybe you could try some perspective stuff?
