Archez i'm truely thankful and infact i accept criticism when the person who's givin it is polite and respectable .. not calling begginers as noobs .. because i hate that .. thanks alot man i'll try doing every thing as you guys said .. and i'll be making a new map today!

It's nice to see that you accept the criticism in a good way, instead of the fighting way supershady.

I would also recommend you to use grass tufts.
Avoid every squareness in your map, because God didn't made our nature(Earth) squary, doesn't it? ^_^
Add some tricks, there's a thread about mapping tricks that could be useful.
Lower the amount of flowers.

It's also good to see that he really wants to get a good mapper, I said 'I don't see any potential in you' on purpose, yes indeed to make him feel sick. You got the right direction, supershady.

I agree with the suggestion given by Archez, however the 'avoid every squareness'. Sometimes it's right to map with squares, but it's really hard to explain.. I guess you have to find out yourself, by mapping, mapping, mapping and mapping..

You might want to try to copy others work as well, on that way you learn a lot actually. Then later you should try to copy from everywhere a little bit and in the very end you should develop your very own style. If it all goes smooth, you should be a good mapper by then, but remember you won't achieve this within a few days or weeks. For some it takes longer, for others it doesn't take that long. If I were you, I'd reckon that you say yourself that your not good enough, then you'll always get better. Everyone is able to improve, even God would.

I'm gonna say what a friend of mine said to me, you should create a thread which includes the same reply you post on every thread, and if people wants to hear your opinion, they go to that thread, that will lower the spam from your side! =)

Just a quick note.

Reading all days Tutorials wont help much.. since you can't really learn mapping, you have to know it already...

Mapping is like drawing a picture, some people have the imagination to draw pretty well from the very first start and some need a lot of time to get their experience.

Just take your time and improve first, You can't expect that people will say "Wow impressive" if you didn't took your time and thought first about it, if it even fit well....

Keep on track and find your own style that's what I wanna tell you but atm don't bother posting more of this mapping since it doesn't really look attractive neither it's near to good.

well when im mapping a map ... im using for like 7 day's for one town to improve it a lot.. to add nice details and so on..
Or im drawing on a piece of paper the map where will be the dp etc....

Ok "Loveinabottle" i want to see some of your mapping.

Im pretty sure it'd be shitter then SUpershadys. But this is shadys second map, as he said he hasnt played tibia before EVER

so i doubt hes been able to get much ideas from exploring ots or real tibia. Once kingdom age is realeased im sure he'll get a lot better seeing all teh ideas.

But yet being a good mapper isn't using everybodys ideas in your own map. Its more about being creative and stuff ;p
But kingdom age will definately give him ideas. If he starts to play it ;D
