Updating

I was wondering everything i need to do when updating from my server 8.52 to the new 8.54, do i need to update my database and if so will the players lose there houses/characters. i have never done this before so the more information provided would be better, thanks

Wich version of TFS do you use, And have they got a 8.40~ version jet?

Anyone? i need to know hwo to transfer the database and do i just throw all my 8.52 ot files into the new 8.54 files or the other way round

If 0.3 then..
Go to data>xml>server.xml
Then change this line:

<server id="0" name="Example" versionMin="850" versionMax="852" address="127.0.0.1" port="7171"/>

To..

<server id="0" name="Example" versionMin="850" versionMax="854" address="127.0.0.1" port="7171"/>

Could cause instability! But this is the simplest way.

No i mean i wanna change from:

[8.5/8.52] The Cipsoft Project 0.1.9 (TFS: 0.3.5pl1)

to

[8.54] The Forgotten Server 0.3.6 (Crying Damson)

and was wondering what files i need to swtich and what is the easiest way to do this
