As it goes online:

Random Player: "WWTF! GM"

Heartless: "What?"

Random Player: "Dis shit is faking stupid, monsters hit so stupid hard."

~Looks at his deathlist, noticed he died to a group of orcs~
Heartless: "Yeah, this isn't like other ot's where you can run into a group of orcs and just sit there."

~Random player resumes to run into mobs of monsters"

It makes me think that like 50% of all Tibia players only have one arm, so their only choice is to EITHER press hotkeys, OR move, OR attack a monster.
And that is why almost everyone I ghost and watch stands still and HOPES that the monsters die before they do. EVEN IF THEY ARE RED HEALTH ABOUT TO DIE, they don't even try to run and heal. They just stand there crossing their fingers, "please let my character magically defeat this monster before I die somehow, I am SURE it will miss the next 10 turns"

Then they blame us when they die. Because of course that was our fault, for designing monsters that attack you.

Something came to my mind when playing....since theres no way to heal ( beside the noob potion )... its kinda forcing people to actually play a druid or hope 50% of people actually pick druid.

Another thing i notice is that when using wand you get no extra mana for w/e you might wanted. Every char seems to have same attack dmg and the only thing that differ is actually the few spell you get. So it seems like mage are kinda weak compared to other. Their large mana pool is rather useless and their normal attack does the same dmg or less then every other class.plus their energy strike being less strong then standard attack and summon skeleton that die in a couple of hit + freakingly slow. I dont quite get how a spell deals less dmg then a normal attacks.

Its probably just me being used to or just thinking it fits better if a spell would actually be better then a standard attack but i guess i'll try and get used to it.

Good job so far and hopefully the server gets more diversity at 50 (class change).

I love these types of posts and can answer it quickly!
You start with health potions and mana potions, as you kill shit you get money, to buy more mana and health potions. This solves 100% of the problems you listed above. (Sorry you can't hunt for free, we decided we wanted an economy)

By the way I played every vocation solo with no training to level 15 with no issues.

ya but you can only buy noob pots? As little as i know as of now. I dont quite see the economy thing your talking about. Having item every class can use. Beside weapon, nothing will get sold. Since you can actually upgrade with a right click. So beside say a sword swap to a wand i dont think there will be much of an economy. But thats only from what ive seens so far.

That's why I never liked servers with tiers, you always knew it was just going to be tier to tier to tier and every voc can wear it.

I'm glad the use of an actual druid is required? What's the point of building your way up and working so hard on a druid to a priest to a saint, when no one needs one for anything. And every class has light healing and higher potions will be available at higher level.

Another thing i notice is that when using wand you get no extra mana for w/e you might wanted.

That way, it is required to spend your money on mana potions so you can do everything based off mana regen.

Every char seems to have same attack dmg and the only thing that differ is actually the few spell you get. So it seems like mage are kinda weak compared to other.

If every character has the same attack damage, how are mages weaker compared to others if everyone hits around the same damage?

Their large mana pool is rather useless and their normal attack does the same dmg or less then every other class.plus their energy strike being less strong then standard attack and summon skeleton that die in a couple of hit + freakingly slow. Mana shield is going to be added and I dont understand how a large mana pool is useless if it allows you to be able to use spells more frequently. And if a mages normal attack does the same damage as everyone else, I don't understand whats the problem. Do you want mages to have more damage than every other vocation? Summon skeleton has more hp depending on your level, and they hit just as fast as your wand does when they are next to the target.

I'm not trying to be rude or aggressive, I like all the comments and want them to keep coming. Hopefully you can see some logic in what I'm saying and if you have anything else to add, don't hesitate to do so.

KEEP THE COMMENTS COMING,

- HeartlessX

We could put strong potions in the shop, once your level 50 feel free to pick them up. (wouldn't make much sense to me)

Also, economy will start once people have tons of T1s and start making T2s.
If I make T2 Legs, and Helmet, and Boots and only need armor, I will probably trade any T1 boots and legs and helmets for T1 armors so I could try to get T2 armor.

They probably just upgrade it and with the tier token gets w/e they need? If upgrade works they keep going on and on?Thats what i do personnaly. Item trading aint really an economy to me. You got a currency called gold and the only plan you got for it is buy noob pots? Im just curious here many people like your server and im just trying to understand what you guys got on your mind and if I personnaly like it or not.

teams of warrior+healer and other class have no roles? Since everyone hits about the same i mean? Why would they bring other people on their hunt they rather share the loot in 2 rather then having a 4-5man group? Guess ill just wait and see how it turns out but those as been my personnal concern and will just tag along and see how it turns outin the end.

Being in a party is 1000000000000000000000000000x more profitable than being solo.
But being solo is more experience.
Why? You might ask?
Well first of all for each monster you kill you all get 1 "point" behind the scene towards your next Mini-boss. (even not in a party if you both attack the same monster, you both get 1 point)
Meaning you will get bosses almost equal to the amount of players you are hunting with.

Hunt with 20 people? You will get 20x the Mini-Bosses as long as you all attack the same creature.

makes sense... so basically its better to tank+heal because you will also get more loot (per person) and (more exp).

Actually there is a shared exp bug that makes you get less exp in a party I think.

I have an idea tell me what you think?
Make druids shift last an unlimited amount of time but tick mana each second? since right now its 35 mana for 10 seconds make it tick 3.5 mana each second (maybe more?) ur shifted and if u cast the spell again u go back to regular form but stop losing mana?

@up
I think sounds like a really good idea.

@Heartless, I REALLY like the quests this alpha, there challenging, but I hope to god there rewards are worth it. And not just lumberjack tokens...
