I understand azw but u need to get one thing mate, the point is we have a lot of patience but what is the point logging the server when u have nothing to do?
at least u could add 1/2 spawns with quest monsters which coudl just give us some normal exp ( columbras, medusas etc )
only thing im doing from last 3 days its helping every possible newcomer and thanks god most of them are staying, i bet u can have find at least 10 minutes a day to just log and speak with peoples on game chat.
this server needs onething : some nice adversting.
its just, i dont want to see that arda will die, u made hard way mate and did awesome job, arda dont deserves it.

Good to hear, we need new exp places so bad cause its like we got nothing to do anymore (most of the high lvl )

+ its been already 3 days when non of u showed up on the server even to restart it, and the sadliest thing here is that we love to play here but we simply cant without anything for us.

The server is really cool but lacking some things, obviously its a work in progress. What i think that could help sort things out, is that you guys could be more active on the server itself, this thread got some answers from the admins, but the ardan forum doesnt see a admin reply for 5 days.

If its so hard to communicate to the players, you could get some people to help you do the 'talking job' with players.
 
My first impression after a couple of hours on the server:
There's a decent amount of spawns in the beginning area and I made sure to explore everything before moving to mainland. Although most of these spawns are rather dull and serve no higher purpose than grinding and perhaps an unexciting new piece of equipment. I found a single mini boss that was a nice surprise, although better loot from him would be nice to set him apart from the other skeletons. As a warrior, I seemed to be doing very low damage on creatures with my weapon, barely being able to damage highly defensive creatures such as orc warriors and was way too reliant on spells to do the damage for me. Particularly "exi", my aoe spell which for some reason did much more damage than my single target spell. I understand "uto" costs half the amount of mana to use, but "exi" was doing more than twice the damage of "uto". In general, single target spells should do more damage since it's limited to a single target. After reaching mainland, I felt the same purposeless grind as it was in the beginners area, teleported to a temple to trudge around the city and find something to do.

Keep in mind this is just the first hour or so of playing the server, I'm unsure as to how things scale out with progression but due to the low playerbase, I'm simply emphasizing how I felt starting on this server.

The best thing I believe for you to do, to increase interest in the server would be:
Add some purpose to the mindless grind. This would ideally be a storyline that progresses throughout the server. Maybe some tasks to help neighbouring NPC's to gain exp/addons/EQ.
The generic real tibian items are bland and dull. Create custom items with their own random attributes that add a new spice to grinding, hoping to get a rare and unique item.
Create spawns so it feels as if you are attacking it as a whole. Instead of going upstairs and downstairs to kill the respawned creatures, have a depth to the spawn where you can kill the leader of the fort, steal his treasure and leave his minions in disorder. Having every spawn unique to another would just add to the RPG feel that I hope you're looking for.

As it is now, I've lost interest in playing but hopefully these suggestions I left caught your eye in how to improve your server.

Im giving them 1 day and then me and my mates will just leave this.

We got really busy this week. So you understand it better I will explain it to you:
I have two jobs, go to college and still have Arda to deal with, as for Azwraith it is almost the same - this week got complicated and that's it.

We gain no money at all with Arda and still have to support our daily lives and families, it is not like we live with our parents and have nothing to do but Arda - do not get me wrong, we love Arda and spent(d) a lot of time in it, and will continue to do so, but just complaining and threatening us will do no good but to diminish our will to work with passion.

As for an update, we do not have a new release ready to go, we will let you know when we do.
We would like to thank everyone for their interest in Arda and apologize for any inconvenience.

We know you all are eager to play, but from today things are supposed to be work as usual - we will keep working hard on it.

So u shouldnt msg us at forums that "we are almost full time on next update" which was more than week ago, just simply tell "Not now"
All what i ask for i at least 1 or 2 exp places for 100+ lvls, u can use even columbras monsters so u wont need to do new monsters.
i guess this isnt THAT MUCH.

But anyways, after a very difficult week for me and the Mad Gravity, we coming with everything this week, and tomorrow we will have a basic update of areas to hunt for high levels, and after this we will work on quests and more developed areas.

Indeed, very wierd.
However the whole map is just bits & pieces taken from other maps so meh, not the worst they've done.. Atleast it's something new which we haven't seen much of lately.

Hey, I know thats wierd, BUT its just some classics pieces of map, not big deal, and the monsters not even close.
All our map are pieces of other maps, so dont worry, we will keep doing that, just a small update with minor parts :)

  • New cave appended to Gravem's cave;
  • New cave in The Ungodly Isle;
- Re-added socket wiper stone to NPC Kriskain Loyalar.
- Fixed a bug in NPC Lugen;
- Fixed some issues on loot NPCs;
- Fixed hunter MOR spell;
- Fixed automatic promotion choosing level issue;
- Fixed many map bugs;
- Fixed many internal issues;
