Hmm, I guess you do have a point; but otservlist already allows users to look at what each server is using on the description page. So, having it as a search function wouldn't be much of a change. I agree, some people may try to find exploits in a certain revision then check all servers with that revision - but we could expand against that by allowing users to post information about distributions and how to solve basic/well-known errors kind of like a wiki so developers can combat anyone trying to do that.
I'll put this idea on a brief-hold while I look into what could be the most major side-effects for server owners (being targeted with search) , and the benefits of servers of doing this (all revision users can easily find eachother and ask for help or post help) .
