I personally agree.I am basically against stages. If you plan for a long term server x3 is way to go. I think this exp stage is just perfect. You could still do some wars if you play a bit longer + rpg players won't be hurt.
It's currently 10x exp3x exp on testserver? and how long are you planning to use this test server before the real one comes

Just want to attempt to make RealOTS appeal to all players.
Tibianic Realots took me 7 hours to get to main. I had no life at that time, judge me all you want. I was the 6th person to main. I do not plan on dedicating my life to this game anymore, so please, change exp rates for levels 1-8. Or even levels 1-6. I really don't want to sit behind a computer for days in rook, that is a joke. If you do stages do it for lower levels only, it HAS to be 3x from at LEAST 15 on if you want a long term server.

Rook will not be deleted noLet's start at level 8 with a chain set. Who really enjoys rook? Noone. Just 60 minutes waste of your life.
1-8 takes with 3x exp about 30 minutes, satrting without EQ With EQ from a friend 15-20 mionutes. Thats it. Not the first day ofcourse but later on. You say you're casual still you're arguing as you want to be able to compete with non casual players...
Edit: As for casual players. I guess rested experince or something like that, an item you received when beeing offline for x time wich can only be used on said char would work too.
Rook and getting to 30 is SUPPOSED to be a pain in the ass.
If you're a casual player i don't see the need to have a higher exp rate, you're saying rook takes too long the first couple of days, sure does. But if you're casual what does it matter? just wait 3 days and start then. To a casual player that doesn't really matter in the long run at all.
If you make the exp higher than 3x, rook won't be crowded. But main will be. and with XX more noobchars / low lvl pk teams. See the sturggle in rook and lower lvls is the biggest reason ppl can't be arsed doing thoose low lvl pk chars and path blockers. But if you take that away, there is nothing stopping all of them. You might enjoy the server for the first day beeing casual, then what? Every cave will be flooded with low lvls.
With 3x from the start and nothing else, rooks a pain, low lvl is a pain. But that just makes 200 players split up more. You get waves of same level chars charing a exp place instead of EVERYONE. Like usally i play alot the first days just to get ahead of "the masses" Since i don't enjoy sharing a tomb or whatever with 3 other ppl. I rather give it my everything the first 24 hours and beeing able to login and go hunt without worrying if its taken or not.
