I miss being top expertise pwn ml.... fishing actually being profitable. i think if they would have left the fishing system alone to where people could make money fishing, then mike wouldn't have had to kill the server. the lvl cap was a killer too... anyway, i am excited about a good ot. let me know if you would like some help

Been pretty good. Moved out of my old city into a new place now right on a lake :D

@OP I have some fantastic ideas for the server if you wanna throw me a PM. As Collapser was going down initially we had about 5 people together brainstorming ideas for a Collapser 2.0. Most of these ideas were about how to prevent pay2win but still get donations, how to create a map that isn't patched together with portals or boats and, how to incorporate guilds as a major component of the game.

I do have some of tho old collapser files, the ones I made myself, that I would be open to sharing. My brother, once a mapper for collapser, has some of his own maps that I'm sure he would negotiate in sharing.

Whats the current progress of the server? Still in an ideas phase or do you have a working alpha?

I think the monster fishing (when it was still profitable, especially if bots aren't going to be allowed) would be a good way to keep money coming in without the pay to win.

maybe you could also have something that gives you say 20% more exp for every monster that yields over a certain amount of exp for a certain number of uses (so you can avoid wasting maybe) like say you kill a monster that gives 500 exp, you would get 600 exp for it, but like a monster that only gives 100 exp wouldn't count against you

Im glad you are giving me suggestions :) Ill for sure take a look at it and see if its something that would fit for the server.
 
another thought i had is npcs near hunting areas that buy common loot at a lower price and supplies at an increased price (convenience fee for not having to head back to town)
