[8.x] Tibia World RPG is coming back - What Cipsoft should do

It's about the feeling.
I love 8.6, but I hate the bots... I love 1.x but it's sadely only for 10.x versions.

It's hard to say if you haven't been around for long, but it dosen't feel the same with the newer clients for me.

Yeah that could be it... But you can still change the sprites or something, I mean, why some couple of buttons should change the feeling of gameplay? The new content should be what's changing that old feeling.

Well to me it's about the client mainly, the way the buttons look, the way you walk, cooldown system etc.
If I should write out a perfect OT client;
Custom client (with major changes to the protocol)
Mounts
No cooldown system or bars.
The way that the client looked around 8.x~ so you actually see what the buttons are etc.

This can be done with OTClient, but im way to lazy to clean up the code and actually do it.
Aswell as most players would not wanna download a custom client even if a trusted member did it - and it would not be posible to use your own OTClient if I change things in the protocol (to avoid botters for a while).

But it has been a thing ive been thinking about, using enums for most of the package headers, once botters start coming you just swap the hex or decimal values and then recompile both the client and server.

Well, I think some of those "new sprites" still bring that feeling of oldschool part.
Since I've replaced the outfits, but also you can dress the new ones, some items too, effects and other things.

Still remains in Tibia history.

I'll open a Test Server (but don't know when), to get some feedback like:

* Bugs (Quests, NPCs, Map and other things)
* Missing Quests
* Missing Spawns

This looks really good, probably the best server I've ever seen based on the preview. I also like the fact that you don't pander to "oldschool nostalgia" the new outfits look better from an unbiased standpoint. I'd offer some ideas of my own, but it looks like you're doing a fine job.

Btw is this using the cipsoft files? Or was the screenshot about the dead body on the island just a little joke?

Thanks for your opinion man, and answering your question, yes, it's based in cipsoft files, that's one of the reasons of the RPG feeling in my server, it has all libraries, all signs, blackboards, books with texts, containers and etc.

And the dead corpse with items inside, isn't a joke, it's real !!!

It's RL map, but I'm sure that alot of people don't know the entire 8.6 map, since it's huge, and I put alot of effort into it, you'll have a great RPG feeling here
